What a great family restaurant tradition. It’s a throw back to restaurants of old where food was prepared on the grill behind the counter, and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress Karen has worked there 13 years and patiently answered our questions about the menu and the restaurant’s early days some 45 years ago. Note to owners- Karen is a Keeper!! What a great representative of your establishment.

Small town hamburger joint vibe. I really enjoyed the 1/4 lb. Cheeseburger, fries and coke. (Fries were crispy & hot. First time in a while I have finished a whole order.) Husband enjoyed the barbecue, beans, and slaw. Fried Apple Pie is awesome. Service was top notch, very attentive. It was super crowded when we went but we got seated quickly.

Stopped here while traveling. The smells from the parking lot were mouth watering. Our server was fast and friendly. Didn’t wait long for the food. My husband had the pork and I had the turkey. Both plates were amazing! I especially liked the bbq sauce. The portions were large and filling. If you are in the area check it out.

I’ve been coming here since I was a young girl. Formally Golden Rule BBQ. Same wonderful atmosphere, friendly people, and most of all Delicious Food. (It literally melts in your mouth). Highly recommend if you’ve never had Archie’s. Their Jumbo Burger is killer. (You’re gonna want a nap after that guy)

Archie’s is the typical local BBQ joint. I mean that in a good way! Tasty food, waitresses that make sure your drinks are filled and you have everything you need. The lunch crowd is bustling people from single diners to big families. With that said, it’s the perfect place to be, where the action is!
