Walking into Archie’s B-B-Q and Burgers feels like stepping back in time. The atmosphere has that old-school charm that instantly makes you feel at home, and we were greeted right away by some of the friendliest staff you could ask for.
We came in for one of their famous burgers and decided on the jumbo burger, which we split along with an order of fries. Let me just say, that was more than enough food — I left completely full and satisfied. The burger was packed with flavor, the fries were spot-on, and the whole meal reminded me why this place has such a great reputation.
Since eating there, I’ve told several people about Archie’s and how good the food is. I honestly cannot wait to go back. If you’re craving a classic burger experience with great service and a welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit.

Old school style burger place..tried tonight for a party of 9, and despite the full restaurant we got greeted with smile and the “no problem, we will find a seat for all of you”..2 minutes later, we were seated. Both servers had smile and very friendly. We all ordered burgers that had modifications and all the burgers were served correctly. Planning to go back before I leave.

This was our first time here. We enjoy different meals for my wife and I. The service was excellent. People were just great and will look forward to coming back. I had their jumbo hamburger and coleslaw. My wife had hamburger steak, dinner and baked beans. We enjoyed it very much. We will see you soon.

We absolutely loved dining in at Archie’s this morning. We got there just after 11 and got seated right away. The waitress we had was incredible. She was so personable and friendly, and by the conversation she was having with the table next to us, you could tell she really knows her customers. She even convinced us to try the turnover and it was delicious! We were stuffed like turkeys when we left. It was such an awesome experience as someone just passing through the town!

Wow, wow, wow!!! Staff were very friendly from the counter , to the waiter, to the chefs. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I kept it simple with a hamburger and let me tell you this, as plain as it was I could not put it down. I wasn’t able to take more pictures because I was worried about the burger and crispy fries. Only upsetting part is I was expecting more bbq? But in all I’d return.

Hands down, burgers here are what dreams are made of. I ordered the Jumbo Burger with cheese and bacon with LTO…wow.
Perfectly cooked and made with perfection. Can’t forget the sweet tea! Talk about the best lunch I’ve had in a LONG time.

By far this is by far and I mean by far, extremely extremely by far the greatest barbecue restaurant in the entire country
You talk about authentic, this is the place. You want to see him smoking over an open pit, this is the place, and they don’t have ribs to my knowledge, but you can’t beat watching them smoke slow smoke a Boston butt right over an open pit this is the best barbecue with the best barbecue sauce this is the absolute phenomenal top dollar place and anybody that’s anybody goes to this place

A man fell from a wet floor landed on his hands a knees.
The waitress or any other employee didn’t ask him how he was, in fact they acted as though it was HIS fault. !!
The bbq was so soggy the sandwich fell apart and it squished all in my hand
I sent the fries back because they were cold, when I got them back they were grease soaked. I told the waitress and she raised her voice at me, and got very mad and angry with me. I didn’t eat even one fry.
When I got to the register. I was charged for the fries although I had told her to take them off my bill. I asked for Nick the owner or his son, who I believe is part owner or even a manager. She said nobody was there. !
She demanded that I pay.
I have known Nick before his dad died and I told her that but she gave me an unbelievable mad look as though ….. yeah right.
She asked me my name and I told her, then she told me ……. NOT TO COME BACK
I hope the man that fell will be O.K. He was treated badly.
That waitress got the water on the floor otherwise he would not have slipped.
That is what happens when owners leave a place without at the least a manager.
Unfortunately unqualified people do not know how to respond to or defuse a situation.

I heard this place had the best steak burgers in town. So I had to stop by.
I ended up ordering the 16 oz hamburger steak (which was the largest-Go BIG or go home) with fries, a peach and apple pie. Unbeknownst to me, the burger did not come assembled (I think it was because I requested no gravy and onions.) It came with two pieces of Texas toast on the side. I would have ordered an additional piece of toast considering the size of the burger patty.
The burger was flavorful, the Texas toast was toasted to perfection, and the peach pie filling was ok (it taste better with ice cream). The apple pie is way better. The crust of the pies are uniquely buttery. Which I liked.
Service was great and food was made to order with only a 10-13 minute wait. I would definitely eat here again.
