I had gotten a Gingerbread Iced Latte on accident and the super nice workers remade the drink I had wanted which was a Iced Venti Gingerbread Chai. The workers here are amazing, super helpful, friendly and patient and the drink was 10/10 so amazing I get the seasonal chais all the time so I definitely recommend an Iced Chai of any kind. I would definitely recommend to a friend and plan to go again this week if that says anything about the quality of service.

Liss was absolutely wonderful! She was kind, patient, and had such a positive attitude that instantly made my day better. She took the time to make sure my order was right and did it all with a genuine smile. You can tell she really cares about customers, and that kind of service makes a huge difference. Starbucks is lucky to have her!

I am not usually someone who writes reviews, but after several deeply frustrating visits to this location, I feel compelled to speak up. I have been a loyal customer for 3 years at this location, and I remember when this store was a pleasant, well-run place where customers felt welcomed and cared for. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. The decline has been gradual but undeniable, and today’s experience finally pushed me to say something publicly.

From the moment I walked into the store, the atmosphere felt tense and disorganized. Several employees appeared overwhelmed, and nobody acknowledged me when I stepped up to the counter. I waited patiently, as I always do, assuming someone would eventually greet me. Instead, I was met with a dismissive tone and an air of irritation when I finally approached to ask a question about my drink. I try to be kind and respectful to workers — I truly do — but the attitude I received today was completely unnecessary and honestly quite surprising.

My drink was made incorrectly once again, and this has become a pattern at this location. I have tried being understanding, knowing these things happen, but it is a repeated issue, and it feels like there is no effort to correct it. When I politely asked about the discrepancy, I was given short, clipped responses as if my concern was a burden. At my age, I expect at least basic courtesy, especially when I’ve been spending money here for years.

And then there is the bigger issue: management. I don’t know what has changed recently, but the lack of leadership is glaringly obvious. There is no sense of direction, no visible oversight, and no one stepping in to help when the staff is clearly struggling. I watched customers waiting, orders backed up, and employees wandering around without coordination or support. The entire environment felt chaotic, unbalanced, and poorly supervised. When management does not lead, the whole store begins to fall apart — and that is exactly what seems to be happening here.

Instead of creating a positive environment or guiding the team through busy moments, the leadership appears absent and disengaged. There is no communication, no urgency, no organization. It truly shocks me to see how far this location has fallen, especially considering how much potential it once had. I left today not only frustrated but genuinely disappointed. This is not the kind of experience customers should have to deal with, and it certainly does not reflect the brand’s standards.

I sincerely hope someone higher up reads this, because something needs to change — urgently. Customers deserve better than inconsistent drinks, poor attitudes, and a lack of accountability from those in charge. I would love to return to being a regular here, but unless significant improvements are made, I simply cannot justify continuing to visit. This store needs strong leadership, proper training, and a renewed commitment to customer care before it loses even more loyal customers like myself.

Very hit or miss. I’ve gone to this Starbucks a couple of times since taking a long hiatus due to inadequate drinks and weird customer service.
The recent past couple of times I’ve been have been good and have slowly crept back to getting coffee from here (purely for convenience )but I think I’ll stay with my go-to small business coffee shop across town instead. The guy at the drive thru acts as if you’re not supposed to be there. It’s weird.

We always stop at this location because it’s conveniently located beside Chic Fil A and is a nice stop while traveling. This evening was our last visit. The drinks here are consistently bad. The baristas are not well trained as my husband ordered an iced mocha. She handed him what looked to be an iced latte and when he questioned her, she said it’s a mocha. He took a sip and clearly it’s not a mocha. Drive around and went inside. They remade the drink but poor customer service if a barista can’t recognize an incorrectly made drink. I ordered a tall flat white and received a vente was nothing but warm water, zero taste. Clearly made the drink for a tall and added too much milk and put in a larger cup. This is the third time this location has messed up our orders and they’re barely busy.

I’ve been coming here multiple times and I get fantastic service from the baristas but I have noticed the manager or supervisor is incredibly rude to her staff. I believe her name was Melissa. Baristas make my order correct though and make it worth coming back here

There’s one rude Hispanic barista. I walked in to pick up a mobile order like I usually do that was ready at 3:15 pm (order I placed at 3:01 pm) I showed up to the location at 3:27 pm with only one drink on the counter. When I politely asked about the second drink the barista gave me attitude about there only being 2 people that day. When I counted about 4 – 5 individuals behind the counter lol I understand being short staffed but don’t clear a mobile order that is not ready if the drink are not made.

Its fine but overall everyone except like 3 people kinda suck. No idea who, but whoever has the really bad handwriting and puts “sugar and spice” on every one of my chai lattes SUCKKKS they always taste watered down and its been 3 times in a row now. Almost every time I get an iced london fog it is completely melted and literally warm. pllzzz improve lol.

My go to Starbucks is in Statesville. Since I live in Elkin I thought that they would improve to about the standards of States, but it continues to disappoint. Today at the Elkin Starbucks I ordered a brown sugar cortado with non-fat milk, 2 extra shots of expresso, extra hot, 3 pumps of brown sugar syrup and in a tall cup. What I received was a short, no syrup, not hot. I have tried to give Elkin a chance at improving, but I guess it will be useless. Thankful that there is Talia. That is where I got a descent coffee in Elkin. Elkin Starbucks should either improve or close.

I used to work at Starbucks and am from Seattle so maybe my customer service expectations are too high? you can’t take two seconds to pop one more sugar packet into my coffee, instead hand it to me to do in my car? Mmm Kay. Most of my experience with Starbucks on the east coast has been a vibe and attitude that everyone hates their job and I’m an inconvenience. This was no exception.
