I visited this Starbucks couple hours before closing hours and I almost walked out since all the chairs were already turned up onto the tables as though it was closing time. I learned that it was open. Even if they don’t get much traffic, seemed very uninviting to make a popular place give off this vibe!
I did have to go there the next morning and it was busy. They got the coffees and sandwiches right. However, please wrap the warm sandwiches in parchment paper or something similar?! They were glued to the paper bag they came in due to warm cheese.

I feel like I walked into a fever dream. I get into the store and I stand at the counter. There are six employees behind the counter not a single one looks at me. It’s fine, it looks like they’re doing a shift change so I wait. Over 5 minutes later another customer walks in and comes up to the counter right next to me, I guess assuming I’ve been helped already. Then an employee finally comes up to the register and looks at her. I push in and give my order, tall white chocolate mocha, without waiting for acknowledgement. She practically whispers a question to me so I lean in to ask for clarification. She wants to know if I want whipped cream, awesome. I say, that’d be perfect, as much as you can fit in there. I pay and then I mention that one of their customers’ vans has it’s door wide open, in case they want to let them know. I guess not because she just nods her head so I go and sit down. Nearly 10 minutes later everyone who came in and ordered after me gets their drinks I finally get mine. It tastes nothing like what I’m used to and has zero whipped cream. The other customers were nice though, but that’s no reflection of the business.

I don’t know what’s going on at this Starbucks location, but the drinks are consistently off. Everything tastes overly milky and watered down, like the balance is never right. I’ve had the same drinks at other locations and they taste completely different, so I know it’s not the recipe it’s how they’re being made. Really disappointing.

When we came into Starbucks, we were greeted by Courtney, but stood at the register in front of “Jay” for five minutes. She did not look up from the register. She was ringing up a possible order and entering it into the register on an iPad. Once done, still without looking at us, she walked away and began speaking flippantly to her co-workers. Another gentleman approached the register and asked us about our order. Jay knew she didn’t make eye contact with us and could be unbothered, except to ask her staff if they had their breaks yet. Again, Courtney seemed truly engaged and kind, taking on the brunt of the tasks with her teammates. Thank you, Courtney, for being polite.

The music was too loud. My classmates and I were here on our break to study and we picked Starbucks because usually it is nice and peaceful. This particular Starbucks had the music on ONE THOUSAND. I asked multiple employees to turn it down a tad multiple times and pretty much was ignored.

I’m pretty sure I’m messing this up, so for the record this is for the Monticello location inside Target. Very friendly, very patient, and great drinks. Oliver (apologies if I got their name wrong) did an especially nice job on my cold brew. 10 stars. Rocked it. Thank you!

Always fun to say hello to the baristas. Most are very friendly and easy to have a conversation. Drinks are wonderful and i love the breakfast wrap.

Good service overall. Food often overheated and chewy. Atmosphere not great at all. Often dirty and disorganized. The other day there were dozens of giant boxes stacked in the dining room with no effort to minimize the disruption at all. Outside often has trash on the tables & ground.
