To be fair, I did call, and they offered a refund if I returned to the store. However, with a standard drink that is on their menu, you shouldn’t have to cross your fingers that it will be made correctly- especially when you’re paying $8+ per drink.

I’ve been to this starbucks countless times over the years. And many other starbucks around the world. For the past week I’ve been calling to request light ice on my drink and extra oatmilk after making the order on the app. Sometimes they do it and sometimes 2 employees there (Josh and Benji) respond and with a very unprofessional attitude tell me that its against policy and that they’ll do it this once but to not call again) They did this twice. Today was the third time where I finally told them that this is weird and I would like to speak to a manager. I went to the store to speak to a manager and couldn’t find any. I asked for their cards, called the numbers (1 was the store’s phone number to which Josh responded) and the other went to voicemail. Josh told me to go throw the ice on the snow outside when I told him it wasn’t a big deal and that he could just throw out some ice and add oatmilk (which is what usually happens when I ask for light ice) his attitude was really off and very rude I was extremely uncomfortable speaking to him and kept requesting to speak to any other person to which he finally cooperated. I’m just shocked of this interaction and that these types of things happen now. He could have been nice and if it was really a policy just requested another drink (like he finally did today) not tell me for a week he would do it but he doesn’t think its right. Anyway not going there again. This is the only starbucks in the world where this happened to me.

2/5 stars because 2/5 is the number of visits that actually go smoothly. The food and drink are great, the employees are awesome at making the drinks and following any order customizations. The problem is that there is zero sense of urgency in this store. They are consistently slower than any other store in the Gainesville Warrenton or Manassas area. On top of that there’s only a select few that show any concern that they are clearly behind and communicate with you. Today I stood at the pick up bar for 12 minutes with my drink wrapped in a napkin (for some odd reason it was the only drink they served anyone without a sleeve) while I waited for my breakfast sandwich. There was a girl making espresso drinks and a gentleman making cold drinks behind her, both near the pick up bar and at most 5 feet away from me. Both of them made eye contact with me multiple times and would immediately look away. She just seemed so unenthused to be at work and when she would put a drink down on the bar for pickup she would say it so quietly even I could barely hear what she was saying. Neither of them ever asked what I needed or why I was still waiting there. I had to go to the register and ask if there was a breakfast for me and of there wasn’t just to cancel it and the girl walked over to a pile of warmed food on the counter next to the oven and handed it to me. No I’m sorry you had to wait this long, no explanation as to why none of the warmed foods weren’t in the pick up area or direction that maybe you’re supposed to pick up your drink on one side of the store and food on the other, nothing. Very frustrating.

Ridiculous experience today. I ordered a Dubai pistachio matcha, and my order was messed up not once, but TWICE. When I tried to sort it out with a worker, he just nodded, but then the girl who originally messed it up actually made a face at me, even though it was literally her mistake. She heard me asking for my correct order, and NO ONE bothered to fix it or even offer a refund. She didn’t even start making the right drink after hearing me explain it clearly to the other guy. Seriously a total waste of time.

Unfortunately, this is consistently the worst Starbucks experience. I have been coming here long enough to know how slow the service is that I purposely put drink orders in with extra lead time to allow for the lag in production. There is no expo on mobile orders and very poor customer service on corrections when other patrons take your drink in addition to their own. There is no urgency or apology on making the new drink to fulfill the order that you have paid for and tipped on. I avoid this store as much as possible because of the consistency in their low quality of service.

I haven’t been to this Starbucks in a few months, but I decided to stop by again, and honestly, I was shocked at how much the service has gone downhill. The cashier at the register barely spoke English, and I had to repeat myself several times just to get my order through. When I finally got my drink, it was poorly made, messy, and the whole process felt completely unorganized.
What happened to the polite, professional employees this location used to have? The atmosphere, the customer service, and the overall quality have all dropped significantly. It’s disappointing, especially since this used to be one of the better Starbucks in town.
Thankfully, Shotted just opened across the street and feels like a much better option now. Very disappointed in how this store has changed.

I’ve been a starbucks lover and always patronize every places I go, this location inside target store at gainesville was very lousy and awful service.I ordered drink at about 1 O’clock pm, it was very easy and simple Iced caramel oatmilk latte.There we’re 2 customers ahead of me.Few minutes after both customers got their drink, I was just sitting and waiting my name to be called.Another lady new customer came ordered 1 drink.She got her drink faster and mine wasn’t.The asian male staff ask what I ordered and told him “ iced caramel latte”, he reply “ she will make it “ he was referring to the other lady barista named Carlee.There was No sense of Urgency nor teamwork!!!! They dont care about the customer and it is very unacceptable cause the shop was no other customers and very quiet.This is a very disappointing customer experience on my favorite brand of coffeeshop.Staff needs training instead of doing something else they should pay attention on their orders.I do understand if my order takes long if they’re very busy, however the shop was empty that time 1pm..Remind your team to take care every customer and employees to take ownership on their job.

Ordered two coffees, one was an iced decaf, but served me a hot decaf, then gave me an iced regular coffee on try two, then finally told me they do not serve iced decaf. Big kudos to the staff for getting me a cold decaf drink on the third try. Much appreciated the friendly service.

The employees at this location are amazing, they create a very nice atmosphere 🙂 I love their level of service. The store is clean and they take pride on keeping engage and satisfice every customer. I see the effort they put every day … yes, I come to get my coffee everyday and it is remarkable hoy consistent they are on been my favorite place to visit! I will be unfair if I mention the Batistas names … but I asure you that along with fresh brew coffee they are the BEST !!! nothing but the BEST !!! Thanks !!!!

My daughter and I got our usually and one our tea spilled in my car , my cupholders filled with Match – We got some napkins- in the parking lot cleaning the car — Here comes one your staff with shammies and paper towels – beyond customer service!!!!!!!!! trying to help us ….thank you – and we got another tea at no cost!!!!!. HE IS A GOLD STAR AND KIND AT HEART.!!!!!!!!!!!!
