I stopped by the Starbucks at Gateway Shopping Center the other day, and it was a great experience overall. The location is super convenient, especially if you’re shopping or running errands nearby. The vibe inside is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of seating spots for people who want to relax, work, or chat with friends. The staff here are friendly and quick – they handle the rush like pros, and my order came out just right. I grabbed a caramel macchiato and a sandwich, both fresh and delicious. The place looks clean and well‑kept, and they keep the drink station stocked. It’s also easy to find parking in the shopping center, which makes stopping for coffee a lot more relaxed. This Starbucks has a really chill atmosphere and feels like a nice little break from the busy day. I’ll definitely swing by again the next time I’m around the area to grab another coffee or just unwind a bit.

Be warned. Parents let their young children “hang out” at this starbucks every day after school. Every day th3 starbucks staff has to tell the children to keep the noise down and even kick some kids out bc they do stupid things like smack drinks out of people’s hands etc. Shame on the Parents. Starbucks is NOT a daycare/child sitter but a restaurant. Have some respect for the adults who do not need to put up with your child being disrespectful. The staff should not have tp police the restaurant for kids making a mess and playing in the bathrooms, throwing cookies on the floor, stepping on them and kicking them. It’s ridiculous. If you owned a business, you would not want this kind of company.

This Starbucks consistently delivers great service and quality drinks. The baristas are friendly and efficient, the store is clean and welcoming, and orders are always made just right. It’s a perfect spot for a quick coffee run or to sit and relax for a bit. Always a reliable and enjoyable.

I’ve been a customer at this location for some time now ; however I always have my hands tied or simply just never got chance to do a review so here’s my honest review. I want to first start off by saying that the staff are very knowledgeable and polite when welcoming customers in this location. Secondly if I’m paying for add-ins to my drink or customizing it I should be getting exactly what I ordered. Granted the employees may think that we will be satisfied with how they made due to the fact they may be super busy and so fourth but that will be pointless for any customer to be paying for just anything additionally at that point it should be of no charge. I can count at-least 5 times I have been here over a course of the last 3 months that the drinks I have ordered were not good, had less than what I have ordered, didn’t have an added items in it or the Carmel added to the top or lined on my cup, my matcha hardly is mixed an dark in color and I ask for additional syrup and it’s still bland.I had to even stop a few times and ask for things to be fixed or corrected when i my self is running on time to make it to work. I also don’t like that I can’t order water with ice online so that means when I order and come in I have to now stop the employees an ask for water and they seem agitated that I’m asking them. They see I’m a regular but never insist on adding my water cup knowing I ask each day yet acknowledge me upon leaving. I also recently ordered the potato chive bites an what if seemed and felt like while eating was a heavy thick string in the bites. “Not cheese”.which messed up my appetite completely. I could not come directly back at that moment to let them know but I did return and let an employee know she looks at what I showed her an said oh it’s just cheese ! No apology nothing. If it was just cheese I wouldn’t of thought to bring it back and I would have ate it. I’m here mostly every morning why would I be looking to get a free item. I then was asked did I want another one and I let her know I would not like another one and asked for a refund but she insisted she could not offer me a refund but when I come in next time I can get another item saying though I’m a regular customer. I always order online so if my order is not right I don’t have time to stop and ask for it to be remade but more than likely I would because why am I paying for an item that I didn’t order. A few days passed an I came in instead and let the man behind the counter know I would like to order an item since I have an issue with my order prior he said sure not a problem and I ordered the banana nut bread an my regular matcha drink, he then goes on to inform me that he can’t discount me for the cake but he can discount me for me the drink I was very perplexed but that was nice of him to do that for me. The drink I ordered was a matcha with a pump of vanilla and oat milk and keep everything that comes with it , I got to work an my matcha was watering, had no taste whatsoever hardly any Carmel on top I’m not sure if they are short on Carmel but it was like a dab or two at the top. I’m not sure if they just are rushing the drinks just to rush them but not tasteful at all. I’m not sure if I’ll be getting anything else from this location again. Very disappointing.

i always order a strawberry açaí lemonade. When i used to order it was so good. now i guess they have new employees and it’s always horrible. please learn how to make a strawberry açaí because when i get it at another location its fine but the one here is always so sour it taste like straight up lemonade. i’m not willing to pay $5.65 for a drink that you could get at a child’s lemonade stand. Do better.

This location is my favorite. The place gets dirty, and I usually have to wipe off the table I sit at, but the friendly staff and fellow community members that i have gotten to know make up for dirty tables. I enjoy the staff at this location, and most of them should be recognized for exceptional service and friendliness.

I put off giving this place a bad review for some time because it used to be good. It used to be calming, clean, and polite. That said, the past several times I’ve gone over the past few months, I have experienced long waits, incorrect orders, and rude baristas. If they get my order wrong (which is common), they give me a lecture on how I placed it wrong. I’m a regular at Starbucks (not this one, but many others) and I know how to place my order. They get it right at every other store every other time, but they get it wrong here and somehow it’s my fault because I “said it wrong” (I didn’t).
A couple months ago, I asked for non-dairy milk and they gave me dairy milk. I asked them to correct it and they asked “are you lactose intolerant?” as though I’m not allowed non-dairy milk unless I am. They pointed out non-dairy milk is more expensive, and I commented that I ordered it that way and they made a mistake, but I’m okay with paying the difference anyway if it’ll get me what I ordered. This location has generally rude service that will challenge you on what you know you ordered. Every other Starbucks I’ve been to will just apologize and fix it. This Starbucks is rude and unapologetic.
Last time I went (given my experience, I’ll probably never go again), I had an appointment that I was very early for. I was made wait easily 20 minutes and possibly more. I had ordered two drinks. At one point, they gave me one of my drinks, but they never gave me the other. I stood by the counter expectantly. Other Starbucks, at this point, would ask if I was waiting on something. They ignored me here until I made an issue. Turns out, they managed to miss the other drink and only make one of the two. I could have stood there all day and never received the other drink despite the fact that I ordered with the app and knew it was on the receipt. During my time waiting for my second drink, several other customers made the issue of their second drinks also being forgotten. I should mention I ordered ahead and still had to wait at least 10 minutes to even receive my first drink. Again, no apologies for anyone.
The seats are covered in crumbs and bits of paper. Service is rude. They will get your drinks wrong and blame you. To top it all off, the baristas work really slowly and the waits are unforgivable. They also have exclusively paper straws when every other Starbucks I go to has biodegradable plastic, which isn’t ideal, but at least won’t melt in your drink. I hate giving a bad review, but I really have to say something with this one.
