Great service, very quick and patient. Lori was exceptional at keeping it casual while also keeping it a nice morning experience. Also their Friday deal (grande drink and pastry for 5$ exactly) was such a nice deal.

Who was working Friday Afternoon May 19th was smiling and funny, while absolutely slammed and working alone, she kept apologizing and making sure to notice and greet each new person who joined the long line ( there were 7 people in front of me when I joined the line) She was moving so fast and so efficiently, really the epitome of great attitude and best customer service practices, my drink was perfect too, management for this location needs to hire MORE People! I would not give it a 1. Ordered my drink and the drink maker decided to blend it with the previous customer drink. Questioning why I ordered the way I did. Then when I saw her make someone else drink and then just reblend it I complained. I asked for the manager. She replied I am the manager so what now. I asked for the Safeway manager and complained. This Starbucks has high and mighty employees and managers. Avoid it at all costs.

Customer service goes a long way, and this location inside Safeway in Astoria demonstrates it effectively, ordered three drinks to go while traveling, order taken with a smile, new employee in training made the drinks with two attentive trainers watching, asking questions and quizzing as the process progressed, gave us one white chocolate mocha unmixed, stated she was training and offered us stir sticks to remedy, drinks were delicious, made timely and served with a smile, 5 stars for effort, smiles and service!

The barista are unprofessional and have a bad attitude. They made fun of me and told another customer about my order and when I confronted her, she came back with a lot of bad attitude and lied saying that “I don’t know what are you talking about” with the giggle in her voice. If it was possible to give negative stars, I would give it a -10.
