I’m sorry Starbucks, but this location is a joke. On this vacation your hours of operation were not as posted the entire trip.
On Oct. 13 you could not break $100 bill on an order of $23 and change on the most exclusive part of the island.
I also had 3 Nitro Coffees and they had to be the worst I’ve ever had. We will be glad to get home to our regular Starbucks where people actually have a clue. (This was beyond Island Time which we respect. It’s far from my first time to Hawaii).

Needs better staffing. Wouldn’t make water with coffees ordered. Really needs better staffing. Small update. Please update water policy. Staff standing around and can’t help paying customers.

This is day 6 of ordering daily. As a Starbucks barista I’m having a hard time understanding how this is light room. I get it, it’s a tall in a venti I don’t like 2 tea bags in my tea not trying to be cheap. I just don’t think it’s that hard to follow the order either. This is also the first time in 6 days that we’ve been greeted upon walking in the door, I get it it’s a tourist area but this is also Starbucks. I know what my manager, district manager and area manager require of me as a barista. It should be the same at all stores.

This location removed indoor seating (now a bunch of boxes), and also removed all umbrellas over the outside seating. It’s now hot, and mixed w/ staff not even smiling, it’s just a horrible place to wait to sit. It’s clear they don’t want customers to have an enjoyable experience anymore. Best to go elsewhere.

Hours differ daily, don’t count on this location being open and don’t bring any big bills, I tried to pay for a $18 order with a $100. She said she didn’t have change because they just opened ( it was 1215pm). She was rude in her delivery of the message that I should “bring smaller bills next time and then said so sorry with a smerk …went across to the ABC store. They were happy to take my money, got a drink and lunch there. Won’t be back to this Starbucks again. Highly recommend you go somewhere else to save your self time and frustration !

I have never seen a Starbucks that is advertised as opening at 5AM not actually open until 9AM. We tried to go at 7:30AM two days in a row and were met with locked doors. What coffee shop doesn’t serve coffee in the mornings?

It was so nice to have a Starbucks in Hawaii right near the resort we stayed in. There were nice tables and chairs to relax in with a drink, enjoying the Hawaiian fresh air.

This Starbucks store is located in the queen’s market place, which means that you conveniently can visit this store while you are shopping. Nothing special compared to other Starbucks stores, but you make an order ahead if you have a Starbucks application.

The baristas, during our mornings visits, September 3-7, were not very friendly. I forgot to rinse out my own Starbucks mug one morning. It had about an inch of coffee from the previous morning. I was told they couldn’t do it. Therefore, I went outside and poured the remainder in the trash. The barista (a young guy) with short, thick, black hair then told me he could not take my mug unless it was COMPLETELY RINISED out. When I asked again if he couldn’t do that, he rudely said, “No, it’s against company policy.” I replied, that it didn’t use to be. He ignored me. My husband politely walked outside, all the way to the bathrooms for the shops, in order to “rinse” my mug out, since Starbucks had no bathroom. When he returned he said, “This is the last time we come here. They have been somewhat rude each morning, especially that guy.”

We found *Island Vintage Coffee* shop across the road at the Kings’ Shops. They were super friendly with a great vibe at the shop! Delicious Hawaiian Honey Latte and food items. Goodbye Starbucks! After over 20 years, we are DONE with you! Tired of your declining service and unprofessional looking baristas, as well. So long…

Standard Starbucks. Good service, indoor outdoor seating right off the parking lot.
