I wanted to meet a friend for coffee at 2:30 pm on Friday and this was one of the few places in San Carlos that was open past 3 pm. Unfortunately, because I’ve never been here before, I didn’t realize that they only have 4 indoor tables (it’s December and outdoor seating is not attractive due to the weather) and they were all occupied (3 by people with laptops who were there for the long haul). Fortunately, a table did open. So if you just need coffee or food to go, this is fine but I wouldn’t count on finding a seat to consume your purchase inside.

Whatever you do, don’t expect to get your cold brew coffee fast. The coffee is brewed slow but also served slow. Let’s about the order processing, it went pretty smoothly ordered a hot coffee with no room for cream and a cold brew and a donut. Got the the hot chiffre very fast but then waited a long time like 20 minutes for the cold coffee which was confusing. Donut was very cakey and I burned my mouth on the coffee and really needed the cold coffee to heal my tongue. But the problem not with the ordering but with the waiting umm we got the hot coffee immediately but waited 20 minutes for cold coffee. I think there is a conspiracy with the city of San Carlos because I got parking ticket while I was waiting for my cold cofeee EVEN THOUGH I WASNT THERE FOR TWO HOURS, just twenty minutes. The parking sensors are definitely not working correctly and I think Starbucks is in cahoots with the city. I’m never coming to San Carlos again. Thanks Starbucks. 2 stars
