I go to this Starbucks almost every morning. Usually there is a lady in the drive thru that is happy and polite. Recently, there is a lady with a black mask on, that has zero personality. I asked to add a muffin at the window after I ordered and I was told she can’t add anything at the window. Which may very well be a rule, a STUPID rule but it was more just the attitude with it..AND there was only one car behind me AND I was not even asking for it warmed!!! By the time I sat there for the 1 minute waiting for my coffee they could have handed me the damn muffin!!!!

This location and drive through setup is ideal for me to grab drinks while I’m running my weekly errands, so I hope they weed out staff that doesn’t keep up with the program. I was waiting at the drive thru for a crazy long time with no one in front of me and I was only getting one drink with no modifications. It was not a peak time and from my vantage I could not see any evidence that the staff was swamped with orders inside the store. It went from ‘okay, this is a little longer than usual’ to ‘holy moly, this is taking forever’ to ‘welp, not going to give her that tip now’ to finally thinking I was just going to ask for my money back because I thought they forgot about me completely. To her credit, the lady serving me did apologize for the wait but the damage was done by then and it didn’t strike me as very sincere; she just had to apologize to continue doing the bare minimum is what it seemed like. This Starbucks is right where I want a Starbucks with a great drive through config and I’m hesitant to go back there now. I order easy stuff, I have my payment ready when I get to the window, and I always tip at least a dollar unless there’s some special reason not to. This visit was one of those rare times I had a special reason not to tip.

Blond hair, “Shawn”, pony tail. Girl CLEARLY cut in front and that employee “Shawn” just rang her up first before for other people. We’d been in line for 8 minutes. Send her back and do a better job.

i ordered in doors, i ordered and i was charged, i was then left to wait for 45mins, when i asked about my order they said it hadn’t been placed, i ordered a second time and it wasnt what i ordered… the workers are nice but the actual service is disappointing.

Your normal Starbucks, the team is normally fast and friendly. There isn’t a drive through at this location so you’ll have to go inside. They do have pickup parking in front, but it is limited.

Staff are great, outside seating is a problem. Too much trash pins and a lot of flies. Old tables which makes impossible to put your drink on it or it will spill due to unstable table top

I LOVEEEEE this Poway Starbucks ❤ They always make our coffee perfect and I really dont like to go to any other Starbucks. This one doesn’t have a drive thru yet which is why I love going here too. Mobile ordering is just as good as a drive thru in my opinion, others may not agree but I feel like it keeps the quality of service excellent. The employees make an effort to get to know you and your order and I appreciate that because they always remember our side of half and half.
