One of the friendliest and most attentive locations I’ve been to. I’m a frequent Starbucks customer and always use in-store or drive-through pickup. They are always happy to greet you, capture your name, and tell you where your order is in the queue, all while working to get your order to you as fast as possible.

I visit several Starbucks. Of all the ones I’ve visited, the Mattoon Starbucks have the most pleasant staff I have ever encountered. I will give a shout out to Chelsea. Y’all need to give her a raise. Her customer service skills are AMAZING. I’m not even in the area every week, but she not only remembers my name, she knows my order by heart. It’s like seeing a friend every time I’m in town. If you’ve been there, you’ve probably met her and get the exact same experience I have. I’ve heard others in front of me or behind me in drive thru and she calls them by name and recites their orders as well. She’s one of a kind for sure!

Only reason they got 1 star is because can’t give them lower
Front door was locked you could litterly see the lock engaged. When pulling on door you could hear metal on metal clearly not stuck. So I got in line to wait to pickup door dash for 1 of their customers the woman at the drive threw was very rude called me a liar not once but 3 time then said I was being aggressive because she was to busy insulting me to let me speak so I had to speak up to even talk then threatened me with armed violence if I didn’t get out of her drive threw
Do not doordash from this location they will litterly do 20 to 30 drive threw orders putting off doordash orders until drive threw is not as busy
Go to their review page 3 bad review per good review an has been going on for at least 4 years clearly starbucks corporate don’t care or they would either shut this store down or hire staff that can make coffee oh wait they don’t care because corporate still makes their money.

Mattoon Starbucks out of the kindest, most caring and compassionate employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They really go the extra step to make sure that you are taken care of during your time there, the coffee is always great, and there is always a warm smile to help you feel at home away from home.

Ordered my lunch and couldn’t eat it. Bread was awful and hardly any ingredients, had to break off the extremly hard non chewable bread. Not worth the price. Was supposed be a tomato and mozzarella on foccacia.

Drive-through review only. I’ve been to this location several times and received drinks that are over 2 inches short on milk in lattes. Also, twice when I have ordered an extra scoop of Matcha, it has not been the case, it definitely wasn’t added yet I was charged for it. Regulars know. Management should pay attention here as consistently shorting people on their drinks has resulted in lawsuits in other Starbucks locations because that shortage overtime saves the store thousands of dollars but it also defrauds the customers. Also, Matcha is an expensive ingredient so shorting customers on that saves stores quite a bit of money. Staff will do what management allows.

Rudest starbucks employees I’ve ever experienced. And that’s coming from a Starbucks Partner. Also, they close 30minutes earlier from their posted 8:30 close time, which is against corporate policy. Of course everyone wants to get off work and go home, but 8:30 is very generous for a store’s hours, when my Texas location closes at midnight.
