I understand that it was busy, and I can appreciate that, but basic acknowledgment goes a long way. The focus seemed to be entirely on the drive-thru while customers at the counter were ignored. Unfortunately, this was a clear lack of customer service and made for a frustrating experience.
I am very disappointed with this Starbucks store. I ordered 4 turkey bacon sandwichs and a 2 cold brew coffee and more from the drive-through, but they gave me a cold sandwich and a sweet coffee instead. This is the second time they made a mistake in my order. When I went back to them, they were very rude and unprofessional. They did not apologize or offer any compensation. They just refunded me and told me to leave. The manager was especially hostile and refused to give me her ID number. This is not how Starbucks should treat their customers. They need to train their staff better and improve their customer service.
Additionally, the Tall drink I ordered for my son had a cracked cup and leaked. When I returned to get it remade, a male barista was very accommodating and fixed it quickly. However, the initial barista, Amelia (with orange hair), was quite unprofessional and dismissive. I also noticed her and another colleague whispering about me, which felt very uncomfortable and uncalled for.
Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.
