They are the worst starbucks in the area. I have come here before and it doesn’t seem to matter what time of day or what day of the week it is the service is always terrible. I waited almost a half an hour for a carmel macchioto. I had it given to me without a sleeve on it and she had the nerve to ask me of I wanted to tip. I haf asked for a sleeve and then I was going to go but my coffee was ice cold so I had asked for a new one. I have had it with that location. I normally go to the one in Middletown where Applebee’s is nearby and the one in Hazlet near the hotel. They are much better and most always consistently good.

If this dump is any indication, then Starbucks will be the latest national chain to go the way of Sears. They run out of half the stuff on their menu by 7:30 AM. They stop brewing decaf at noon, so after that all you can get is a weak pour-over. Even the quality of the brewed coffee is inconsistent: sometimes strong to the point of bitter, sometimes weak. The food is mediocre at best.

This Starbucks location is one of the best in the area. There is plenty of cozy indoor and outdoor seating, the store is always very clean and the employees are happy and friendly. I have never had a problem with a long wait or mistake on my order, and we often come in or order on the app.

I give three stars only because every single time I come everything is great except today 3/27/23. I called the store location just to let them know that the kids they have today for the venti iced drink are no good. I spilled my in tire coffee on myself while driving. David answered the phone with a huge attitude. Didn’t not appreciate that at all. I was just calling so they were aware of the situation. I did not call for an attitude.

This has got to be the happiest Starbucks in the country. Your greeted with a big “Welcome to Starbucks ” as soon as you walk thru the door. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. They will craft your drink however you want it and with a smile. This is also the first Starbucks in this area so I hope they’re around for a long time. Keep up the good work!

They didn’t have French vanilla? She offered me a mixed cappuccino with vanilla and hazlenut instead. I said fine make it sweet. I get home sip my coffee. Plain cappuccino no sugar and no flavor at all. So not only did they not have what I wanted they didn’t even give me what they offered in place of it. Not even sugar in it. I mean it’s a coffee place come on it’s not rocket science. I’ve worked in a million restaurants and it’s so easy to make a cup of coffee I just find it annoying that I spent double the price as a quick check coffee and got nothing but plain cappuccino bitter as hell without even any sugar
