I passed by this Starbucks last week and was a bit busy before leaving a comment. It’s definitely the best Starbucks I’ve ever been to, with a lot of aroma in the store. My friends and I are all praising it, and we’ll come back again next time.

I like the baristas here a lot but I face a scenario of having to either ask — almost every time — to have my drink remade, or to accept a cappuccino whenever I order a no-foam or low-foam latte. Again, nice baristas, but the amount of foam I get within each beverage is enough to make this place a two-star establishment at best. When you’re paying $7+ for a drink and tipping multiple dollars, but only getting about 50% of the drink actually in the cup, over and over again… Really frustrating! I genuinely don’t understand why these baristas don’t use the foam spoon like every other Starbucks in the country.

I had my husband order my usual drink order. In the winter I have apple cider, but the remainder of the year I drink ice matcha oat milk latte with mocha syrup and chocolate cold foam. My husband who has ordered my drink on multiple occasions came back with a coffee with an unknown milk. I am lactose intolerant and don’t drink coffee. Typically if I was going to knowingly ingest milk I would at least take lactaid to ease the discomfort of my digestive system. I took the drink back and at politely let them know the mistake and told them I would wait until they finished with the other customers since there wasn’t a lot of people there and even offered to pay again just in case the mistake was my with my husband. One of the employees did remember my husband and my order and told me my order was complicated. Though I do not agree, I showed my order to him to be remade and put in my reusable Starbucks cup since I don’t like to use single use plastic. I also told him I usually do light ice but not to worry about the ice I’ll put it on ice at home. While they were remaking the drink the male employee explained to the female employee the mistake to which she rolled her eyes. The manager finally came over and tried to figure out what was wrong. The employees were not honest with him and instead of accepting their mistake they blamed me as a difficult customer. They still handed me my drink in a single use plastic cup and with a large cup of ice. I opened the cup at the counter poured the liquid into my reusable cup they lady who rolled her eyes tried to offer me more ice but I believe this is only because the manager was watching. I reiterated I said light or no ice. Typically I would clean up after myself but I didn’t appreciate the my order was ignored twice and that even with me being polite I was still painted as difficult. Even if my order is difficult, I don’t think it entitles the employee to just give you whatever they want. The fact that he knew it was supposed to be a matcha and not a coffee means that someone was aware. We have had great experiences at this location before but today really left a bad taste in my mouth. More upset that the employees have no accountability for a simple mistake and I was painted as a difficult customer when there was no justification for it. An order can be remade but odds are if they can not hold each other or themselves accountable now they never will.

I have a really serious dairy allergy. I have been getting starbucks for a very long time and I always get an iced vanilla latte. Today I ordered an iced latte with soy milk. I have never had an issue with the employees mixing up the milk and cross contamination because soy milk and normal milk are separated. After a few sips I quickly noticed my throat start to quickly swell and close in and hives appeared all over my face. I frantically took benedryl and even considered using my epipen and calling 911. This experience was terrifying and I hope to never experience it again. Since the allergic reaction was so severe I don’y believe there was cross contamination, I believe my drink was made using the wrong milk. I love starbucks and their employees however if I didn’t have my benedryl on me or had a few more sips I couldve died.

It’s fastest to order on the app for this location, and really only for takeout. Very busy here. Half of the seating area is by the drink waiting area, which gets crowded up fast.

I enjoy going to the Coolidge Corner location. Friendly staff and great interaction. Energetic vibes which is good for such an early morning start. My coworker treated me to one of their coffee combos and it was ahhhhmazing. I took a pic and went to Starbucks the next day and did not understand what the name of the drink was. Want to give a big shout out to Tyler for helping me with that and also for remembering my name the name when I came in the next day. Awesome morning crew

i showed up at 5 am in this cafe and the staff was so friendly and nice to me. they were chatty and engaging even so early in the morning. they served every customer after time the same way. great store atmosphere for 5am.

This Starbucks in Brookline is by far worst poorly managed and they make these signs that their closed on holiday weekend, where so busy in Brookline and everyone want their coffee.
