The best bakery in the Antioch/Pittsburg area. I always come for the best veggie eggrolls and starbread. These eggroll are always fresh and hot if you place an order. The line is always out the door when I arrive. So my recommendation is to call your order in and pick it up. Great service everytime I arrive.

Very cute and clean shop. Young woman working the front was so warm and happy. She was a joy to chat with. The senorita bread can AND WILL cause a problem because they are SO DELICIOUS! They are served warm, they are buttery sweet little pockets of love and you really gotta make sure to get enough because you inhale them and look down in your bag and somehow have devoured them in a blink of an eye. I went back two days in a row. That’s how good the bread is. Treat yourself and go get you some!

First time in the area and discovered this little bakery. I got quite a few different types of goodies, all at a great price and delish! I loved that many of their treats included ube (purple yam). However, my favorite was their spinach feta. (Sorry, no picture since I inhaled it before I even thought to add a review.)

The man working the counter was very nice. He offered to heat them up before I took it with me. He also wrote what the flavors were on the bag since I got some that looked the same. I feel like many places miss this tiny, yet crucial detail so I was glad he did that without me asking.

COVID safety: All food was stored behind the glass, worker wore a mask and used tongs, there was a plexi glass shield at the counter for checkout.

Overall: Fast, convenient, and delicious; I’d definitely be back again if I’m in the area.

Eating the freshly made señorita bread brings back memories of Leonard’s bakery in Honolulu. If you know, you know. You can’t eat just one.

So far my two experiences here has been hella good! The bread comes out freshly baked and glistening with butter and syrup or whatever that’s on there. I was there last Sunday when this man yelled at the lady giving the orders. He said “Where’s my bread!!??” And then proceeded to argue with the lady that she took his order and that the woman after me had gotten her bread. She didn’t take his order but he kept arguing that she did. She then told him that that lady did not get bread and that she got donuts .
It was hard to tell the cashier apart from the person giving away the bread because they all had masks on and similar hair.

He was upset because he thought the woman after me came out with two boxes of señorita bread but it was actually donuts. A few seconds after him being rude and making a scene he received his order. His son who was about 12 years old said, “SEE DAD! You didn’t have to do that!” Lol. The woman and I laughed. The dad never apologized!!

We hoped that “man” learned a lesson! But I doubt it. He was so mean! I’m just happy to know that his son is not like him.

Him being rude wasn’t necessary.
I too wondered if the woman after me got señorita bread, but I thought maybe she ordered it before I got there and was just picking it up. I didn’t go crazy like that man. If I was that curious, I would have simply asked for the status of my order. Not yell out “where is my bread!!??”

I don’t know why this place doesn’t put enough of the sweet sauce or whatever it is, in the star bread. My son picked some up for the family and they were so dry, barely any sauce which left no flavor. I’ve mentioned this to the employee working there a long time ago and he says he hears the opposite, people tell him it’s too much. I guarantee you, it’s not. Not nearly enough. Go to the next nearest location to get some, you’ll see AND taste the difference. It’s too bad bc every time we give it another try hoping it would be different, it’s always the same or worse than before. We really like star bread and would order more often but it’s not worth it, you’re not getting that sweet flavor that’s supposed to come with the bread. I really wish they would change it and add more. It’s probably cost saving to them by using less ingredients but it’s completely changing the product.. Not worth the savings when it’s deterring people from buying. My whole family noticed without me even saying anything. Ages 7 – 40 +… How could they all say the same thing if it weren’t true.
