Starboard Tack is an absolute gem!
Starboard Tack never misses. The cocktails are next level—balanced, creative, and honestly some of the best in the city. Their merch is super cool too, the kind you actually want to wear, not just toss in a drawer.
If you haven’t been on a Tuesday, you’re missing out: the puffy tacos are a must. Light, crispy, flavorful—truly addictive. Pair them with a cocktail and you’re set.
The vibes are always chill and welcoming, with great music that fits the room perfectly. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel at home—thanks in large part to the charming owner who personally greets everyone like an old friend.
Also the machines are HOT!! As an avid keno player- I love playing here! I always win!
Bonus: they serve breakfast and the kitchen is open 24/7, so whether it’s morning, midnight, or anything in between, you’re covered.

Just to set the tone, we are out of towners. We arrived around 8pm and sat at the bar. Service was great. I don’t remember the bartender that was on staff but he had longish red (?) hair and was extremely friendly. He was more than willing to make the drinks we were ordering, despite everyone seemingly ordering beer.
If you want a typical dive bar experience with a tropical twist, this is the place to go!
If you’re looking for some AMAZING food for a good price and huge portions, this is the place!
It’s not super far off strip. Maybe a $10-$15 Uber. Honestly, it is 1 billion percent worth the trip.

I will say that my wife and I went on a Sunday morning, so I’m sure the place becomes a bit more lively at night. The food was surprisingly good, the crab rangoon dip and the vegan chicharon are a must.

Starboard Tack might be my favorite overall bar/restaurant in Las Vegas. The food is always excellent, the cocktails are terrific and I noticed on my recent visit that they change their themed cocktail list periodically. It’s crazy that a menu that good is available 24 hours. It’s my favorite place in Vegas to bring visitors or even locals who haven’t been. I’ve taken maybe 5-6 different groups of people there in the last few years and everyone I’ve taken loves it. The vibes are good, the staff is always friendly, and it’s never too loud.

This is the kind of spot where everyone inside knows everyone else, which is normally great! Unfortunately the last time we were here, the bartender was too busy catching up with everyone to serve us drinks and we had to keep asking for service, which is not a great feeling when it’s not even super busy. HOWEVER, the drinks were strong and the karaoke was great, so it was worth it. I’ve been here several times and we will definitely be back.

Hands down the best kept secret in Vegas. Amazing food, drink’s and staff ( Krystal ) One of the best burgers, fish and Chips in town and you definitely need to try the oysters. Keep an eye on the specials wall board they do off memu wing flavors of the day plus drink specials.

Cannot believe we haven’t been here before! Not smoky at all, the sweetest bartender Krystal, an amazing chef, romantic loungy old-Vegas feel. Agh! We loved it. Food and cocktails are great! The highlight for us was definitely the 4 skewers for $13. Really cool place we feel lucky to have found!
