We had a very enjoyable dining experience here! We had their soup of the day, a cauliflower based soup and a salad. Everything was delicious and the server was entertaining. Our recmentations for dessert are the Bread Pudding and their chocolate pie.

Quite simply one of the best meals ever (and that is saying something) … The Cauliflower Soup was just amazingly delicious, and refreshing and a very nice serving, easily shared with my wife. My wife order the Chicken Sandwich, I had the hamburger… sounds simple, but the Chicken Sandwich had an amazing mango (I think) sauce, and the hamburger was juicy and tender, and about the best I ever had. For desert tried the Bourdon, Bread Pudding, which, again was the best ever. I should have ordered two. It is lightly covered with an appricot sauce, then vanilla sauce. WOW! Also, the service is delightful… and at the bottom of the menu, it states, Tip is included (so considereing this, prices are quite reasonable) as all staff get full pay, with benefits! How nice. Still noticed that some people were leaving a little extra tip since the service (and all the staff) is so wonderful! We can’t wait to come back here soon!

This is a wonderful spot for food at Maker’s Mark. We came for a bourbon tour and only had about 30 minutes for lunch. Our server, Josie, was incredible and assured she would get us food and get us to our tour on time.
The chicken sandwich is a great combination of flavor. The sweetness of the mango chutney pairs perfect with the curry breading. On a cold day, they had chili as well.
Just FYI, they don’t ask for tips if you pay with a card, so bring some cash to take care of the staff.

They close by 3:30p so this was only my second chance to try their menu!
The servers are tip-free so I feel that they do not give an extra attention, which is fine if you’re not a high-demand customer. But for instance, I wanted to try the salt and vinegar potatoes and couldn’t remember the exact name since they took the menu away, and the server did not care to work with me and I ended up with regular fries. It was just ok. Very frustrating!
Try the drinks!
Overall the food and drinks are Very delectable!

Everything was great, the prices so afordable considering what and how we ate. A very sweet welcome by the hosts and servers who were dedicated and provide us with anything we asked. The food was amazing and well thought. Compliments to the cheff, and a surprising great pizza (coming from an italian pizza expert eater), one of the best we had in USA.

Tiffany was outstanding! Our food arrived quickly and was delicious and unique. When we had an issue with one sandwich, she handled it immediately with professionalism and grace. Her drink recommendations were spot-on, and her friendly, knowledgeable service made our visit to Star Hill Provisions at Maker’s Mark truly memorable. Highly recommend asking for Tiffany!

The grounds here are just beautiful! You could spend hours just walking around and enjoying the gardens. We had a drink at the bar and then walked down to the gift shop to buy a bottle and go through the dipping process. The experience was fantastic and unique which made these bottles a little more special!

I have been many times over the years and it never disappoints. I know they have also gone thru changes many times over the years and still deliver great food and a great experience. We were there midweek before our tour. We had Chicken Pakora Sandwich, Lasagnwich and fries. The Chicken Pakora was really good. It was juicy and a balanced amount of curry flavor. The Lasagnwich is what it sounds like, lasagna on ciabatta bread. It was so good, I might have to try at home with leftovers. We sat outside. It was very peaceful. The service was very good. A little note is that servers are paid a salary so no tipping is necessary. Great job to management for taking care of the workers. If you go to Makers, make time to eat here.

Narrowly averted salmonella event. More on this at end of review.
As far as restaurant in general, way overpriced. A cocktail is nearly $20! My wife and I, we opted for water, and each got a sandwich and split an order of fries. I mistakenly got the “lasagna” sandwich. What a mistake. Lasagna on a sandwich. I should have known better. With tip, would have been over $50. Two sandwiches and an order of fries. I say would have been because I wound up not having to pay for lunch.
My wife ordered a chicken sandwich. After about second bite, realized it was raw in the middle. We kept our cool; ordered a re-cook and got a pecan pie on the house for our troubles. Got second sandwich, and after second bite or so, it was also raw in the middle.
Our server was awesome; handled the situation professionally and asserted that she was confident that the manager was going to comp our whole meal. We waited, each used the restroom, waited, and eventually realized that the manager was not going to come speak to us. So we left a tip for the server and left.
How disappointing. The manager couldn’t even come out and offer an apology after feeding us TWO raw chicken sandwiches.
If you’re looking for a distillery destination, go to Buffalo Trace. Tour is free, unlike Maker’s Mark tours, and it’s a better bourbon product in my opinion.
