This is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve tried in Philadelphia! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with such kindness and politeness—it truly makes the whole experience special. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, and their warm attitude adds so much to the atmosphere.

The food is absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every dish is cooked to perfection, with that balance of taste and presentation that keeps you coming back for more. You can tell they put real care into the quality and flavors.

Between the amazing food and the genuinely friendly service, this place has quickly become my favorite spot in the city for Chinese cuisine. If you’re in Philly and want a place that feels both welcoming and delicious, this is it!

My gf ordered two portions of chicken lo mein and an order of sweet and sour chicken that came out to $33, the food was old I had 3 different people try both food and agreed. The sweet and sour chicken was hard as a rock and barely had any chicken in it. The lo mein was soggy and slimey and the chicken in it was cold. When I call about it I was met with they could only remake my order when I declined they abruptly hung up on me. I had to go inside and make a scene just to get $20 from a $33 order, shameful and rude owners and will make sure to call the health department.

We’ve been looking for a new Asian food place for a while and finally found it here. Food tasted clean and fresh. Great flavor on everything we ordered. Best we’ve had here in a long time. We will be a repeat customer for sure.

So I wanted to try it because the reviews were promising and so is the pictures. So the vegetables used in the lo mein and chicken fried rice looked and tasted fresh. Which I hardly see in other Chinese restaurants. Rice tasted ok, but the chicken in there is bland. Like it’s not off bone chicken and not precooked too. Just looks and taste like the cheapest option to get for restaurants.
Lomein was ok , but still needed just a bit of flavor and a bit more shrimps.
Not sure what happened but the amount of fried noodles that I got is questionable and they didn’t even looked fried. And egg drop soup had very little egg. I have tried from other places and it was clear that they used real eggs. Why to skimp on eggs here?
I might try again. But order in person because prices on their website is 25 cents more, not much difference but still.

BEEFIN OVER BEEF CHOW FUN

1. The food is decent and had good portions.
2. The General Tso’s Chicken is pretty good, fresh and tasty. Most of the sauce is at the bottom of the container.
3. On the other hand, the Beef Ho Fun (Chow Fun) was poorly made. All of the sauce is at the bottom of the container, so you have to mix it. The noodles were too soft and mushy, while being bland. (The noodles were either cooked too long, old, or microwaved) The best part of the dish was the beef, which were barely in the dish.
4. The service was fast and nice.
5. The establishment is very clean and modern.

Edit 1: Since the owner responded and suggested that I may have picked up my order late and it affected the food, I’ll get a detailed explanation of what I got. On March 15, 2024 (4:33PM), I summited an online order and got a confirmation that it’ll be ready by 4:55-5PM. I leave my place at 4:40PM, for a 5 minute drive to this establishment. When getting there, my order was no ready and got my order at 4:50PM, five minutes early than suggested. (So it did not take long to make) Drive back home and took the pictures at 4:56PM, with all the sauce at the bottom. And this place has made Ho Fun at least once in the prior two weeks of the original review (March 27), NO NEED TO LIE. Sorry for having an honest review. 🙂

Edit 2: Hello owner, your Ho Fun was too soft and MUSHY, did not request that. I should have requested for it to cooked better and I hope you didn’t use cornstarch for the noodles because the noodles is a starch. Don’t contradict yourself now, from blaming me for the sauce at the bottom to now, it’s supposed to be at the bottom. The thing about Ho Fun and Peanut Noodle is that the sauce should stick to the noodles after mixing, your dish didn’t. For Peanut Noodle, noodles are on top of the sauce and not mixed in when served. For Ho Fun, it should already be mixed in. And you can read my initial review, I did mix the Ho Fun. 😉

I’ve order here twice now the lunch combo $8 and the dinner combo $10. Good price for the amount of food. Entree, fried rice and egg roll. The rice was fresh and flavorful, my chicken was crispy and delicious. I’ve been looking for good Chinese food in this area and I’ve found my new go to spot. Very impressed with taste, quality and their quick service.

The lady at the front was nice, the restaurant looks nice but let’s get to the food!! I didn’t like it at all. My wings weren’t fried long enough and the rice was mushy and flavorless. I won’t be back, sorry!

This place can’t make a bad dish. I’ve ordered various dishes over a dozen times within the last few months and they never disappoint. Besides being fast and accurate, the food is always warm and tastes delicious. This is my #1 favorite place to order food in the neighborhood. Their rating speaks for itself. You won’t be disappointed! The photos I added are of the Shrimp Shumai (one of my favs from them, just get it), the beef bulgogi, and the beef with broccoli with fried rice. Their beef lo mein is usually my go-to and is also delicious.
