I’m giving the star diner 5 stars . First time I have ever been to one, and I have lived here my whole life. Seated promptly, everybody was friendly. The inside was a lot smaller than what it appeared. It felt a little cramped. But I forgot about most that when the food showed up. The portions were generous. The home fries were great. Everything was just so tasty. Would definitely recommend this place.

Arrive on Black Friday roughly 11am with wife and daughter… greeted when we walked in but all they had available was a table, we politely asked for a booth and even stated we could wait…. Hostess got an immediate attitude and stormed off to get drinks and what else for other guests… wait 5 minutes no big deal, we get to the booth and before we can even sit down “what are we drinking?” , as we’re trying to get settled in we quickly answer feeling like we’re being rushed.. waitress was a little more polite but definitely didn’t feel welcomed at this establishment.. I honestly would never go back nor recommend… on the way out of the diner, the same
Hostess is sitting at the front door taking selfies and playing around… mind you she was just rude for asking for a booth… food was ok but that was the only “Ok” part of this visit… service could’ve gotten a 0$ tip n I wouldn’t have felt bad but knowing holidays are around the corner I felt obligated to tip a waitress that maybe gave us 50% of her potential….

The service was great, I had ordered an omelette with mushroom, The mushrooms didn’t taste right, but I thought it was cause maybe the oil they cooked them in, but But later that night I found out they were bad, because I spent a day and a half Vomiting and diarrhea it was so bad. My husband took me to the hospital because I had collapsed. Please check your food and if it doesn’t taste right, send it back. I wish I had. I can guarantee you we will not come back to this restaurant.

Good diner with good food and fantastic service. Pancakes are delicious. Mushroom and spinach omlette was decent. Home fries were great. Biscuits were flour heavy. Check out Star Diner IV when you’re hungry for diner food and great service.

I walk in to see a very cute diner style, and immediately fell in love with this cute little diner.
From what I saw, very clean kitchen and dinning area.
Good food. Got the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon, all for average price.
Surprisingly good chicken, I was not expecting much from the breading, but it struck me by surprise.
I’m sure it’s because of the early morning, but smiles were about 40/60. Again, probably just the morning, but don’t know how thrilled you all are to work there.
Got two cups of excellent coffee. Delicious.
Will take my wife back here next time
