Star diner is literally the best breakfast around. The food is delicious and not too overpriced. Large portions. The steak and eggs is my favorite, along with the trash potatoes. The atmosphere is crowded, which is the only downside. You are lucky if you are able to get a table during rush hours. Pickup is another option. Cash only.

A nice little diner with a hometown feel. You can get lunch anytime you’d like. Portion sizes are nice, and prices are good. The onion rings and chicken club sandwich are the best. The corned beef is nice and crispy, too! Cash only!!

We found Star Diner on a Google search. Arriving, we noticed there was no sign other than “Open”, and a sign on the door that said, “cash only”. We also noticed that there was a disproportionate number of cars present for the size of the restaurant. We wondered if it operated like the Tardis, bigger on the inside than the outside. Attempting to enter, we waited as a local exited, well versed in the rule of “close the door behind you”. (We later witnessed the correction of the non-native who did not know this rule.) The place was packed, but a table opened up almost immediately and we were able to be seated. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious! The menu consists of mostly breakfast foods and some sandwiches, including hamburgers.
