I have been coming here for twenty years! This place is family owned, and I love to help out a family owned business. The food is made fresh when you order it. There are lots of fried menu options, though. Their burgers and fries are delicious! The fries are very crunchy and lightly season, and the burgers are made fresh, and whatever you want them topped with. My son got the 12 shrimp basket and was able to share it with my other son. They have air-conditioned seating now, too!

Don’t get fooled by the building. The food here is great, especially for the price. I got the star burger, which is bacon, jalapeño cheeseburger, and then an extra cheeseburger as well. The combos do come with fries and a drink. The fries were a bit of a surprise because they included a couple of sample onion rings, which was pretty cool.

I am a very patient person when it comes to places but this is ridiculous. Every time I go up there they are always so SLOW!! And look at the dang corn dog my kid got! On top of that? He ignored every part of the order. No pickles. No onions. Etc. you can’t even hear them on the speaker anymore. Never again

My review is from about 1 yr ago, it was about 8 pm and raining. The drive thru was about 2 cars deep and communication through the order box was a little difficult but acceptable. Total drive thru time was about 13 mins. I ordered a burger combo. It was my first time there and I wanted to play it safe as seafood can be a bit risky if you’ve never been there before. The burger was a good size and tasted fresh. It was a little salty but juicy and the bacon helped. It felt a little expensive compared to burger king as their combos via app are $4-5. But you do get that mom and pop local feel and it appeared to be family owned and operated. I haven’t been back since because I moved but need to go back to try something else. They have since renovated and added a covered area which looks nice and I heard they changed owners but need to confirm to be sure. Overall it was a good tasty and juicy burger and fries. Worth exploring the menu again.

This place has replaced my favorite shrimp spot in Houston. My family and I love this place. From the egg rolls which are the best, to the fries, and especially the shrimp. We try to eat here 2 to 3 times a week. Love, Love, Love this place!!!

I remember passing by this place many times on my way to run errands. Finally I decided to try it out and now call myself a loyal customer. Anytime I am hungry and in the area I come here for a quick bite. The food is good, I especially like the hamburgers. Service is also nice, I always get treated with respect although service can take a while especially during peek times. The thing I like the most about this place is the prices, their prices are hard to beat, I get a double meat hamburger, no cheese for 7.57$ including taxes, and a full on meal for a couple of bucks more. You can eat a nice meal without breaking the bank.

Absolutely love this place! Wife showed it to me and ever since it’s a go to for some awesome burgers. They have plenty of other options to but I just can’t help but get my usual star burger! Super generous and affordable. Love supporting locals here in my hometown.
