Delicious food and a wonderful experience. This restaurant is the only one in the US serving Zambian food and that bums me out! I want more and can’t drive to Champaign every week. I would if I could. Definitely try the nshima, the beans and the ginger juice!

Friendly place with awesome food. They have a number of sampler platters here which is awesome for trying new things and you get to choose the sides! We split Emma’s platter which offered delicious meat and veggie selections.

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO EAT HERE. I’ve lived in the area for years and just had this for the first time. Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in the whole Urbana-Champaign area. As someone from Brazil I will say these flavors reminded me of home a bit.

Visited for during restaurant week and it was amazing! I loved the dishes I had. The sweet potatoes were delicious and they had some of the best plantains I’ve had in the US. The service is good and I will keep coming back.
