Came here with friends as we celebrated a friend’s promotion. Perfect place. Drinks were great, service at the table was always quick and friendly, and the live band was a nice addition. Would definitely return here anytime I’m back in Annapolis.

Bar staff was very friendly. Made out-of-towners feel at home. Neat touches you need to pay attention to (Shamrock on top the Guinness foam). Beer was good. Old Fashioned was good. Enjoyed our first stop. Cream of crab soup was very smooth. Needed a little more Old Bay, which they gladly provided in a shaker.

I love a good dive bar with a great local atmosphere. The food is awesome, and the libations are served in proper pint glasses. Nightly music is always free as it was back in the day…shout out to Sean D’s old skool days!

Love this place on Thursdays and Erin is amazing.
But on a Friday, when I try to close my tab at 1244am and I’m told, “I’ll be with you in about 15-20mins”, that’s crazy.

This is such a cool cozy place. My wife and I were looking for a cool place to get a cold drink. What we found was a great pub with very friendly people. We love the old building and the old building interior. Fantastic bloody mary bar with every bloidy mary spice you can imagine. Just order your drink and go up and do your business. We didn’t come in for food but we ended up getting the crab dip. Fabulous! Lots to share and plenty of bread. Great flavor and loaded with actual crab meat. Looks like we will be back next time we visit Annapolis.

I recently had lunch with a friend who had only heard about the legend that IS Stan & Joe’s, but hadn’t been. Casey was behind the bar and couldn’t have been more welcoming, and was full of helpful information. The menu is extensive, and we were hungry! We were advised Betty’s Chicken Salad was a winner, and indeed it was..Betty knows! ‘Stogies’ were on the menu, which are cheesesteak stuffed egg rolls that are deep fried and cut in half Hell yeah! I knew Casey wouldn’t steer us wrong! My lunch mate chose a frosty craft brew and I opted for a Bloody Mary made with George’s, and it was just what the Dr ordered! That, together with a friendly bunch of patrons who all seem to greet one another, this was the perfect way to spend a hump-day lunch. Don’t forget the free parking lot adjacent to S & J’s!

Loved it here. A local business owner recommended it. Their Reuben with shredded brisket is phenomenal. My friend had the cream of crab, and that was also very nice.
