Stopped in chugwater and not much was open. Stopped in here and was the only table for about 10 minutes until another group of people came in. It’s a pretty big place for a small town but they also hold events such as music and dancing. They have chugwater chilli. So if you want to try it and are in chugwater on the weekend, since the chilli shop is closed on the weekend. Food was pretty good. It’s not going to win awards but it’s comfort food. Good portion sizes with reasonable prices. The service was a little slow for me but I’m used to the hustle and bustle of cities.

If you are traveling between Cheyenne and Wheatland, stopping in here is a must. The food is sooooo good. The burger was super juicy and full of flavor, probably my favorite burger I’ve ever had. The deep fried mushrooms are perfectly cooked, not super watery like tends to happen. And the fries and tots are also super yummy. Next time we are in Wyoming we are definitely coming back here. So dang good.

Finally stopped in to try a bowl of Chugwater chili at the source, and was not disappointed! Plus a side of delicious coleslaw for under $13 total (plus tip). And the Western decorated atmosphere is phenomenal!

What a wonderful place. Took us back in time. Two house salads and we shared the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich which was so good, but way too much food for us. Great portions!! The live music was a bonus. Employees super nice. So happy we choose this place to stop and eat dinner.

If you want a beautiful family experience with yummy food, visit here on an evening when they have live music. From a waitress songbird to a pre-teen on the piano, it was a wonderful break from our drive to our destination. I will be back.

This place is AMAZING! The saloon feel is really neat and worth the stop over. The food is great and we brought our dogs and ate outside on the patio. Great service, and the pie was yummy too. Also, yes, definitely try the chili!
There’s a small museum across the street and we stopped at the soda store on our way out too. Though I thought the inside of the saloon felt more unique.

What a gem! Me and my fiance stopped by here passing through town for a brief reprieve and we weren’t disappointed! Very fun decor, a stage, and friendly service. We didn’t eat any food just got a beer. Stop by if you’re cruising through and need a little break – you won’t be disappointed!
