We have been going here for years and we always go for Christmas Eve. This particular year was fine but honestly has been going down hill over the past few years. Place always use to be packed but now it’s easy to get a table with service lacking. Decor is starting to become run down. The booth we were seated in right next to the kitchen was torn separating between which made seating interesting. My daughter asked for a cold latte and it came out hot and my son’s soda never came even after asking about it. The breakfast eggs rolls use to be our favorite with the gravy but they must have went to a different frozen supplier or they haven’t cleaned the grease because they were over cooked, soaked with grease and inedible with I am guessing was ranch because it definitely wasn’t sausage gravy but something ice cold, watery and flavorless. All the other food was ok except for my croissant sandwich which had a rock hard croissant, my guess happened when it goes from frozen into the microwave to a rock hard piece of sausage that I couldn’t cut. I think since they started expanding the overall restaurant started its downfall.

I’m being completely serious!! This morning, 02/21/26, we ordered chicken French toast through Uber Eats and the entire chicken didn’t even make it!!! It was a box of French toast, blueberry’s and a side of strawberries. Zero protein!!
However, we also ordered a chicken omelette, and it was perfect! Staks dropped the ball this morning. 🙁

Always a great place when we visit. Personally, I prefer the shrimp and grits along with the eggrolls. Slightly crowded but the server was great.

Such a bummer. This was our first time here after being recommended. The staff is amazing; hence the two stars. The food was a disappointment and it took a long time to get. I had the salmon stak’d and they didn’t even make it as described. I had to look at the menu and ask them to fix it. The smoked salmon was generous, but very salty. My BF had the shrimp bechemel omelet with hashbrowns and he said it was awful and didn’t even eat half of it. His espresso was bitter and overpriced. Truly, the only thing that saved this experience was the hostess and the cashier.

Came here with a friend, July 31, as we’ve both never been and wanted to try their breakfast. We arrived at 10AM (I placed our names on their waitlist), checked in, and told that we would receive a text message when our table was ready. We only had to wait 10 minutes before the text message came through and we went inside to order. *Be sure to utilize the waitlist if you’re not wanting to wait a long time for a table*
We looked over the menu and went to the registers to order. I ordered a short Stak w/strawberries on top and an omelette, that I customized on my own, with a side of chicken sausage. For my drink, I had water and a cranberry mimosa. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits topped with a fried egg, spinach with water and a pineapple mimosa.
The pancakes was just ok but the strawberries were fresh. They did give 2 syrups and it was needed as 1 would not have been enough. The omelette was tasteless even with the veggies in it. I had to add salt and pepper to even enjoy eating the omelette. Thankfully I had a side of salsa (which was good) to eat with the omelette. The chicken sausage tasted ok (nothing else to mention on that). The mimosa was good but the glass was fairly small for the amount you pay.
My friend did not like the shrimp and grits as they were undercooked (I tasted and they were crunchy) and surrounded in a visible broth. The fried egg needed a little more time, as well, so she returned the meal, for another bowl (grits and eggs cooked longer), but was told that the meal would come out the EXACT same. She decided to order their BLT with a side of hash browns but instead of receiving their BLT on the menu, she received a PLAIN BLT.. just bacon, lettuce, and tomato. That sandwich tasted how it looked… SAD. She did enjoy her hash browns and mimosa, though.
We definitely won’t return to Staks as we was very underwhelmed but…. try it out for yourself.

We asked for a high chair for our baby when we first arrived and they came back saying they were both very dirty and asked if we could use a booster instead of cleaning the highchair??… Brought a booster seat and it was very filthy with smears all over it. Our waitress was completely zoned out while i was trying to order a coffee and had to repeat myself 3 times before she looked at me. We both ordered the chicken stack and the beignets. water tastes like chlorine, some of the beignets were still doughy, and my chicken was not cooked through all the way. blood on the chicken. i fed some of it to my toddler before realizing, and pray he won’t get sick. Luckily management was kind enough and didn’t make us pay for anything and we left. Still would not recommend this place and only went there because our original place was full.

I would give ZERO stars. I arrived at this location with my daughter on 11/01/2025 to eat brunch. Upon arrival we waited nearly 20 minutes which is understandable due to volume. Once sat we waited 25 minutes on our food, we received the food and had barely ate anything, my daughter had to use the restroom. The stalls were occupied so we had to wait, once we came back out all of our food had been thrown away. It was remade for us to go and I had to ask to speak to a manager, if not , no one would have ever even came by and apologized for the inconvenience and upon speaking with the manager an apology on the staffs behalf still was not made. I asked the General Manager if the food would be compensated for or at the very least discounted to accommodate the inconvenience. She said remaking the food was the accommodation. That is not an accommodation given that the plates were still full which is what I told her. She looked me right in my face and lied claiming to have looked at the camera footage and stated that the plates were empty which is ABSOLUTELY not true. With that being said I told her that they could keep the food and my daughter and I would be leaving, at that point she threatened to file a police report since I said that I was not going to pay for the food. Why would I pay for food that I did not even get the chance to eat dining in because the staff is incompetent and lacks common sense? She then proceeded to follow me outside. I’m highly disappointed and will never come back to this location. As a restaurant kitchen manager myself I would have definitely handled the situation differently because you are supposed to act guest first, I guess that does not apply to this location.

Had the banana nut protein pancake with fried eggs over easy and bacon! The biscuit was half the size of the plate!
Dirty Chai Latte was my drink of choice. Nice…but seemed a little weak.

Amazing food, awesome staff. We had the breakfast egg rolls, breakfast burrito and an omelette. All the food was excellent. Ordered crispy bacon and got crispy bacon. The flavors combinations are perfect. We will definitely try the pancakes next time but I’d honestly say that this is one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating.
