Ordered DoorDash from Ike’s two days ago. It was so good! Had the Meatless Mikes and the Friendsgiving on sourdough subs. Show stoppers! Stopped in tonight and my husband went in to order. Ordered the same thing. Got it home and they were both good. My Friendsgiving sub wasn’t Friendsgiving. It was the Easter bunny (vegan version) meatless turkey and no stuffing. Super disappointed. I’ll definitely give it another try but at $15 a pop at least make what we ordered and if you don’t have it, say so.

Great sandwiches and so many to choose from. Went on a Saturday and there was a bit of waiting but the staff was very considerate and offered a free sandwich for the delay.

Great location, staff is awesome will be back for sure.

Food Quality: Subway
Food Price: Jersey Mikes

In what world is this a $14 sandwich? The bread is oddly spongy and soft like gas station or Walmart subs. The meat appears to be pre cooked from a container somewhat like Chipotle. Basic white American cheese which I expect on a Philly, but then no onions or peppers? Most redeeming quality of the sandwich is the mushrooms. And what kind of sandwich place doesn’t have mayo as a condiment? I will add that I did not get the most popular sandwich due to pricing, but I got a very classic and simple sandwich.

The sandwich was run through a conveyor oven like at Quiznos separately from the mushrooms which were wrapped in a tin foil and then drained over the sink or trash can after cooking before being placed on the sandwich. I managed a Jersey Mikes for 2 years so it is odd seeing this deconstructed process of making a simple sandwich when you do not have a flat top to cook hot sandwiches to order.

Overall, I would say the quality of the business and customer service combined was a 4/5. The staff was kind and answered my questions. I also know they have no control over pricing or food sourcing so I would not blame them for those flaws. My advice would be to find a different sandwich place if you value your money. Everything is becoming more expensive and I realize that makes it more expensive for the business owners, but you must find ways to enhance quality in the food if you are going to charge competitive or more expensive price points.

(For reference, I added the mayo from a packet they gave me to try and inspire some kind of tangy flavor from the plain philly meat)

I’ve tried the Elvis Keith chicken sandwich twice, the first time it was a perfect 10. No dirty sauce since I wanted the essence of the sandwich to shine through. Good flavor, lots o chicken, nice and warm, excellent wheat bread. The second time it dropped to a 7, good but not the same. A bit less chicken, cooler temp, the flavor varied slightly from my first experience – still good-ish. Employees must stick to the process for consistency – I’ll return to a place if I know that I’ll get what I expect. The atmosphere is a bit clinical, acoustics are tinny (high ceilings), lighting could be warmer. I would eat-in if it felt more comfortable. It’s pricey at $14 but it’s a big sandwich so for me it’s two lunches. Tables outside wouldn’t hurt.

After only being open in the last couple of days, this is my wife & I’s first ever experience at an “Ike’s Love & Sandwiches”! Some might think that there might be some stiff competition for Ike & the team given the fact that they’re sandwiched between Dave’s Hot Chicken & the soon-to-open In-and-Out Burger, but after today’s visit I’m confident that Ike will be around for quite some time!

The place is clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly! I got The Last Dinosaur, and my wife got the John Elway; both were excellent!

All in, I’d say Ike’s really knocked this one out of the park! We’ll be back to get our fix for some of that “Dirty Sauce” (if you know, you know) in the near future!

So first, the people that work there are as nice as can be. There’s a massive amount of subs on their menu, which makes it a little overwhelming when you order for the first time. Sasa who was at the register was very helpful and patient which I really appreciated.

The sub itself is very tasty. The sourdough bread was delicious, the veggies fresh and the sauces that Sasa recommended were AWESOME.

Having said that, the amount of actual meat that got put on my sub was borderline insulting. When a sub costs almost $15 I expect more than 1 slice of each meat on it. I wound up taking the meat off of one half and putting it on the other and it still felt extremely light on protein.

I will try this place again with a different sub and really hope this was a one off, because I LOVE subs and I really want to like this place. For now I give the sub a 3/5 and the service a 5/5.. ultimately its just not worth the price for the amount of protein you’re getting.

EDIT: I’ve been back and tried 2 more subs. I’m lowering my review from a 4 to a 2. These just aren’t good. I ordered the same sourdough bread that I enjoyed the first time around and it was really just bad, I’m not sure if they get shipments in or used a different recipe but it was super dry and there was way too much.

The 2 subs I got was a turkey, bacon, avocado sub and the DaVinci. First, they have options online for toppings that I guess are there for fun since none actually got added. Second, the amount of meat they give you really does border on insulting. I got jalapenos and extra onions on both and theres was no jalapenos and it looked like they saved the thinnest onion they possibly could and placed 1 on my subs.

On top of not putting nearly any of the toppings I asked for, the avocado was brown and disgusting and they piled so much lettuce on the sub, despite me asking for light lettuce, that that was all I could really taste.

Genuinely, I wanted to support this place so badly but with Snarfs down the street, an In-N-Out, and a Dave Hot Chick all right there, there’s no reason to ever come here.

Honestly, even Subway is better. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Tried this new shop in Longmont and we are huge fans! Very great quality food and service. Huge menu with vegan options too!

My original review was 5 stars (the above review). Been twice since and they have messed up our order both times. Paid extra for some toppings they forget, wrong bread, add toppings we don’t ask for. I feel like this place has potential but something has to change. We sadly won’t be back for awhile until maybe they can train and fix some things!

Absolutely loved eating here. The food was great the first time I went in about a week ago. Super friendly staff that helped me pick a great sandwich. I recently had a little mishap with DoorDash but gave Ike’s a call and spoke with Jamie, he was super helpful in clearing up everything and went above and beyond. Thank you again!
