I haven’t been to stage stop in so long and decided to stop over for dinner. I have never had the worst experience and the worst/no service anywhere in my dining experience.
We first ordered our cokes and a water. The waitress (Sam) brought our sodas but forgot our waters. She informed us she was getting our waters then proceeded to leave the building and we never received our water.
Our food took about 40 mins after ordering to get to our table. And when finally we received our main course (pasta) it was like eating soup. The noodles were under cooked and the sauce was so watered down it was so unbearable to eat (we didn’t eat it) but not only that my significant other found a fly in his pasta. We thought, it’s a good thing we ordered a pizza. When we finally received our pizza, it was in a to go box. Another waitress dropped it off and left.
No one came back to check on us. We had no plates, no napkins, no condiments to accompany our pizza and no refills. No waitress came back. I had to go find them to get our bill. I asked Sam (since she was our first waitress) for our bill and she continued to inform me that the other waitress had our bill. So after I confronted this busy waitress (to bring our bill) she finally brought our bill. I was extremely surprised they didn’t take off the pasta with the fly in it. Then (the waitress) got extremely rude because we ask to take the pasta off our bill. We did pay our bill but after this whole experience we definitely will never come back to this establishment again. And not only that it was extremely cold in there. I actually had to bring in a blanket to try to keep myself warm.

Thanks to Travis and crew for amazing food, drinks, and making it amazing night. Wayne made an perfect prime rib dinner that will match any steak house but in a comfortable laid back atmosphere. And checked multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely be back again. New favorite place for steaks.

I have been to the Stage Stop many times, mostly on trivia nights, and have received great service there.
So with that, I brought my friend there before he moved out of town telling him how good the place was. We were greeted at our table by one waitress who took our drink and food order. Now we came specifically for taco pizza as I had heard so many good things about it. At this time, there were 3 of us and about 5 guests at the rail. 45 minutes go by, and still no pizza, my friend inquires, waitress checks, brings pizza out in 10 minutes. Only problem is that it is missing toppings, just meat and crust. Another 10-15 minutes go by after sending it back, and still no pizza. So we ending up leaving without eating and not sure if I’ll be back. But below is a picture from when I had a good experience and had some awesomely huge nachos.

Sara was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. Walleye fingers were delicious and a good portion of onion rings. But OMG look at the size of that wiener! We didn’t have it but the table next us did woozier almost 2 feet long. Love the new atmosphere.

Me and my husband loved Payton she was very on point and never stopped checking on us. Food was great! Me and my husband gave stage stop another chance after bad service the last time. But she was very accommodating and makes the place look good we will definitely be back to see her again.

Me and my wife go to stage stop together,sometimes alone or with friends we never had one complaint we had a great server! Very beautiful girl made us feel very welcome and she was dressed beautifully! our glasses were always full! Good food! Great look for stage stop.

Went for Trivia. Had 2 servers walk past us up until the middle of the first round of triva. Kristina finally came and helped us. She was very apologetic for the delay. She brought us complimentary apps. Based on service, I gave three stars. The food was good, and I was impressed with the menu selections. I will try again

Hungry? Check out the Stage Stop Saloon and Grill in Mandan. Great food and HUGE portions. The hotdog is 22″ and called the Brutus. My husband, who has a very large appetite, wasn’t able to finish it in one sitting.
