Reviews
Menu was hard to read since there was so many items on it, but Google reviews directed me to the pastrami — this was very good.
Italian was also good !
Atmosphere was very much an nyc deli, but cleaner than most.
I went with the corned beef pastrami loaded with coleslaw and Russian dressing, and wow, that combo hit hard. The bread was fresh, the meat was stacked just right, and that sauce pulled everything together. It was messy in the best way possible.
You can tell they’ve been doing this for a while—everyone behind the counter moves with purpose. It’s that perfect mix of chaos and efficiency that only a real New York deli can pull off.
Crushed it right before walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, and it hit the spot perfectly. If you’re ever in the area and need something quick, hearty, and legit good any time of day (or night), this is the move.
Food: The sandwiches were outstanding—loaded with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The matzo ball soup was also a highlight, perfect for a cozy meal.
Service: The staff was friendly, but the wait for our food was a bit longer than expected. They were attentive in checking on us, which was appreciated.
Atmosphere: The deli had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a charming decor that made it feel like a homey spot to relax.
Overall, I would highly recommend Stage Door Delicatessen for anyone craving delicious deli food. I look forward to coming back!
