We got:
– Blaze of Rengoku Ramen – 5⭐️ – holy the kick on this was perfect and the broth was amazing. Highly recommend if you can take the heat.
– Classic Tonkotsu – 5⭐️ – so very flavorful, the creamy broth was on point and it was heaped with noodles and pork belly.
– Dragon’s Breath – 5⭐️ – I’m a sucker for chicken karaage. The crunch on these were great, and the sauce was great! Just wish we had more of the sauce though. That really made a difference for the dish.
– Take Out Wings – 4⭐️ – these wings were big and this was a great portion. Flavor was really great upon first bites but it was very forward and didn’t really linger long.
Highly recommend, really hearty and soulful food made with care. Will be back to try the other dishes at some point and can’t wait.
-“Take Out” Wings
-Kurimichikin
-Blaze of Rengoku
-Mom’s Fried Rice
Vibe:
Cozy and trendy in the best way. The overall Eat Street Crossing building makes this a great spot for both a date night and a group hang. It is intimate enough for conversation, but still lively and fun. There is truly something for everyone, whether you are craving comfort food, bold flavors, or just a great atmosphere to share with friends.
Food:
Everything we ordered was fantastic, but the wings and ramen were the clear standouts. The wings were incredibly crispy and full of flavor, and the Blaze of Rengoku ramen was comforting and filling. It had the perfect amount of spice for me, but if you are sensitive to spice, I would definitely recommend ordering the Kurimichikin. The house-made chili crunch deserves its own mention. I am obsessed. It added so much depth and heat and made the dishes even better. Portion sizes were generous, and the quality matched the price perfectly.
Experience:
One of the most impressive parts of the meal was seeing the chef running the kitchen solo. It made the experience feel personal, and you can tell he truly loves what he does and is passionate about food and meeting new people.
Service:
Everyone working inside Eat Street Crossing was incredibly kind and welcoming. The staff made the experience easy, enjoyable, and relaxed from start to finish.
Price:
Great value for the portion sizes and quality. This is one of those places where you leave feeling like you got more than you paid for.
Would I go back:
Absolutely. Without question.
Overall rating:
10/10
The ramen broth is GLORIOUS! Noodles were gluten free, yet you’d never guess. I wanted to drink it straight outta the bowl with my face. The wings were HUGE, deep fried crispy without excess unnecessary breading. Flavorful. Juicy. Good.
Presentation was fun.
I’ll be back!
Find it was tricky. Google took me down a dark alley to the back door of the restaurant. Head to the front of the building and enter Eat Street, where a few restaurants share a combined seating area.
Bathrooms are in the basement, fyi.
Got the regular Tonkotsu with extra pork belly and Marshall law sauce on the side. As an app, got the dragons breath which is chicken karage tossed in umami sauce.
The karage was okay – the chicken was deep fried so much the chicken inside was barely tender. The umami sauce wasn’t spicy at all and was barely tossed on the chicken.
The ramen was great simply because the broth might be one of the best pork broths I’ve ever had. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the chashu because it was fried katsu style. The noodles were phenomenal.
Service was super friendly and they had DragonBall z playing on TV. Can’t go wrong with that.
Appreciate the notice to ICE on the door.
The broth is developed with layers of flavor, noodles were chewy and delish! I appreciate that the boiled egg wasnt ice cold
Dragon breath chicken is crispy but juicy. The sauce builds heat and it’s delish no matter your heat level!
