We had a great time at our first visit as a family to Stacks. We didn’t wait long for a party of 4, which was great for breakfast on the day after Thanksgiving.

Ms. Katie was a doll. Super sweet and attentive. My daughter’s order off, she didn’t miss a beat, right away took it back and brought out what she wanted. We ordered omelets, crepes, and a stack of those fluffy pancakes!

We had a great time, took time to meet the manager Ms. Xochit to express our gratitude for the service we received. We will definitely come back again!

Disappointed with the food. When it was Flappy Jack, the food was delicious, but now, totally different.
I ordered French toast with sweet cream inside. I’m sure it was premade. Came in square tube which was ok because the shape doesn’t matter, but when you cut inside, there was hardly any sweet cream, just the bread. It’s somewhat burned on top too.
My husband’s corn beef hash was not great either. Half was very crispy while the other half, still white.
The service was great. The server was attentive and friendly. Food came pretty quickly.
They still kept the old photos since it was Flappy Jack on the wall, showing Route 66 and other nostalgic pictures.

First time trying this place and let me tell you, they put love on their plates. I ordered the country fried steak and I love that their steak was not chewy. They biscuits with gravy were delicious. I ordered through door dash. My family got the skillet and that was also delicious. You can really taste the quality and flavor in their dishes. I will definitely come back

We went there in a Saturday and it was surprisingly crowded. Waiting for 20 minutes made us really craving for their food. Both the food quality and the vibe inside the place was really great. The only thing which was off was how frustrated some of the staff looked like which made us a bit uncomfortable.

Overall, it’s your average Cafe/Diner. The accommodations there are fine. Our table wasn’t clean when we sat down. Not in the sense that it had crumbs, but that it had sticky syrup glued to it. Our server was average. She didn’t seem very engaging and was quiet. But took our order, got drinks and checked on us a couple times. It just felt like she didn’t want to be there, I think we can all relate to that. The food came out fairly quickly and was good. For the price, it’s good not great. They forgot a couple items, which wasn’t the biggest deal but still adds up to the overall experience. I’d probably come back since the food was good and hope to experience better service that warrants $20-25/meal.

I’ve never seen such a breakfast place in LA like Stacks on Route 66! I went on a weekend and I got amazed seeing the crowd here. The parking is full and seating also full. After having breakfast I got to know why people are choosing this spot. The food was so delicious looks elegant and the service was very nice! Definitely worth visiting this amazing place, definitely will visit again!

It is truly a joy to be here. Every visit feels special because the staff’s incredible attitude shines through—they don’t just serve; they genuinely make you feel welcomed and appreciated. The food, of course, is nothing short of delicious perfection, but what makes this place truly unforgettable is that my partner and I always leave feeling a little closer and a little happier. This isn’t just a restaurant; it’s our favorite cherished spot.

On holidays or weekends, be prepared to wait 30-45 min. Regardless, the food is eggs-cellent and the service is great. We will definitely be returning soon!

Love this restaurant! I went here for the first time in March 2026 and it was awesome. Our server Letty was so great- super friendly, good food recommendations, and very attentive. The service in general was very good- we had people coming by with coffee and water refills so we had everything we needed. And the best part: the food was delicious! A lot of menu items were in the $15-$20 range but they give you your money’s worth. We had the cinnamon swirl French toast and a Benedict, and both were so tasty and large portions. Highly recommend for a great brunch- I’ll definitely be going back!
