Stab’s has become our little refuge… not just a restaurant we visit, but a place where many special moments in our lives have been celebrated. From anniversary dinners to impromptu nights out, we cherish every visit, and it’s easy to see why it is so beloved in Central.
The food and cocktails are out of this world… from their famous steaks and to-die-for crab cakes to lesser known items like the boudin egg rolls and phenomenal wedge salad. Honestly, sometimes we just come for a night of salads, appetizers, and cocktails because even a casual night here feels special without breaking the bank.
What truly sets Stab’s apart isn’t just the menu, it’s the people. Over the years we’ve come to know David, the owner, and his warm hospitality is part of what keeps us coming back. One of the most meaningful moments for us was during an incredibly difficult time in our lives: after losing my pawpaw just six months after my mom passed, David personally brought food to us during our grief. That act of kindness went far beyond good service. It was friendship in action, and I will never forget it.

I have been to a lot of 5 star restaurants and none of them top Stabs Steak and Seafood in Central. I find myself craving their food almost everyday. Everything about this place is amazing. The service is spectacular. The staff here is attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly without ever feeling overbearing. And a special shoutout to Claudia behind the bar—she is AMAZING. Super knowledgeable of all of the liquors and menu, personable, and not to mention, makes the best drinks with such a positive attitude. She truly elevates the whole experience and makes you feel like a friend of hers. I highly recommend dining here at least once, but after that you’ll definitely want to return.

The food is always excellent and prepared fresh. One thing I truly appreciate is their willingness to customize your order exactly how you like it. They never make you feel like you’re asking for too much , they simply aim to get it right. You can taste the quality and freshness in every dish.
The drinks are just as impressive. David makes it a point to introduce special seasonal cocktails throughout the year, which keeps the menu exciting and gives you something new to look forward to.
And if you haven’t experienced Friday lunch at the bar, you’re missing out. It’s a must. The Waitstaff/bartenders Hannah, Alyssa, and Thomas are incredibly friendly and always do a fantastic job. They make you feel right at home while delivering top-notch service.

Stab’s in Central is absolutely exceptional every time we visit. Our most recent visit, we celebrated our wedding anniversary and Valentines. David and his staff went above and beyond to make our visit so special. The appetizers, food and cocktails were amazing once again. Thomas, our server, was truly one of the best we’ve encountered. He was so knowledgeable, kind, professional and comfortable. Everything was wonderful that he recommended, from the German beer to the shrimp appetizer. Looking forward to another great experience on our next visit!

I have dined there many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always consistently delicious and the hand crafted cocktails are the best I have ever had.
