Good food in a small town. The wife and I came here while working out of town. She had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and I had the pulled pork plate. Both were very delicious, and the portion was plentiful. We also had the potato kegs for an appetizer, which was filling in itself. The had live music going, and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. I would recommend this place for sure.

If you’re looking for an authentic small-town experience with unbeatable food, St. Paul Tavern is the place to be. Known for its legendary fried frog legs, this spot delivers a dish that’s surprisingly lean, flavorful, and downright delicious.

From the moment you walk in, you’re embraced by the warm, hometown charm that defines this establishment. The sense of community and town loyalty is palpable, making it a welcoming stop for locals and visitors alike.

One of the standout features of St. Paul Tavern is its incredible value. In 2025, finding an all-you-can-eat deal for just $15.99 is nearly unheard of, making it possibly the best bargain in the entire state. Whether you’re here for a casual meal or a night out with friends, this tavern serves as a fantastic watering hole that perfectly captures the spirit of St. Paul.

If you’re passing through or looking for a unique dining experience, don’t miss out on this hidden gem. St. Paul Tavern is a true treasure where great food, friendly faces, and unbeatable deals come together in the best way possible.

We made a trip to see this place. In a small town people were great… friendly, welcoming environment. Service was spot on. We were already full so we just ordered pizza nachos not bad. Next time we plan on eating not snacking

I’ve had better burgers, but it wasn’t bad. The mozzarella sticks were really good and the home made chips that came with my burger were good too. Go early if you want to hear yourself talk.

Nothing better than a small town Tavern. Great staff and regular customers. Best fried chicken around and great pizza too

I am a local person who has been in and out of the tavern for almost 40 years. Today was the end. The food quality has declined very noticeably the last year there are a few tasty tidbits left. The biggest problem is some of the wait staff, in particular a bartender who is extremely hostile to us and has been verbally abusive of my wife. I have no idea why, we are not obtrusive or rude, my was a waitress and we usually tip very big but today we waited 20 minutes to even order drinks to put up with the same rude bartender. Arrived at 10:30 and got an inedible stromboli at noon, the food was burnt to a crisp but cold as a stone. We are done . I hope the owners can turn this around but my money or time wont be involved.

Family room for kids, bar side with full bar and large variety of beers available. Several TVs in both rooms for entertainment while enjoying your meal. Server wasnt overly welcoming but done the job required. Large menu for a small town bar, lots of options that sound great. We wanted a variety so we ordered Chicken Livers, Sidewinder Loaded Fries, Breadsticks with Cheese and Pepperoni/Sausage Pizza. Hubs said the livers were good flavor and hot. Sidewinder Fries were covered with jalapeño cheese and bacon. Breadsticks had a slight garlic taste perfectly paired with the jalapeño cheese. Pizza looked amazing, however it didn’t have much flavor. I am hoping it was from all the jalapeño cheese that our taste bubs were overwhelmed but would likely try other items before reordering the pizza again.

A nice place to stop in and get a bite to eat. I got the Breaded Pork Tenderloin with onion rings for my side. Sandwich was good and onion rings as expected. I wish the tenderloin had more flavor as it was a little bland. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Cool atmosphere, lots of bottle/can beer options. Pizza was good and wings were nice, crispy, and (temp) hot though the medium sauce was broken so it didn’t coat well – still tasty. Sampler platter was great. Fantastic option for campers at Hidden Paradise campground. We’ll be back!

PAPER in my cheeseburger!!! Yes, you read this correctly. I thought I had a tough onion, but it was a 2″ square of PAPER. This is totally unacceptable. Server offered to get a replacement, but i said forget it. This one already took 30 minutes. I’ll never be back!
