Was so excited to be in the area so I could try this place I’ve heard so much about.
Got the breakfast burrito with beans, eggs, cheese, potatoes and sausage which was very filling for only $5.75 (beans and cheese had an upcharge of 65 cents), and got a large horchata for $1.80! Prices are very reasonable.
The red sauce for the burrito was unlike anything I have even tried. So flavorful and unique.
Staff were fast and friendly.
Several chairs to sit and wait though no tables to eat in.
Definitely glad we experienced!
We definitely were pleased!

I noticed this restaurant and looked up their menu online. They had a large menu and very reasonable pricing. I stopped by on a Saturday evening to get food to take home.

The staff were pleasant. The wait for one combo was 40 minutes. I didn’t open my food until I got home (40 minute drive) and I was very disappointed. The taco was a boxed taco shell with not much shredded beef and lettuce and cheddar cheese (not traditional Mexican). The chile rellano was the smallest one I’ve ever had and didn’t seem to have cheese it was also brown, probably because the oil is old. The rice and beans were just that and nothing more. I will return one day and try their breakfast burrito and I will call ahead!

Absolute gem of a restaurant… people are on first named basis… there is a wait.. but for me is welcomed, 1. to see that a smallbusiness doing things the right way. 2. Means the food is great but that would be an understatement and low key disrespectful.
3. The prices are great very affordable almost feels like theft..

Great prices with great quality food! I love chilaquiles and the portion size was amazing as well as the taste. My family has been going to this place for years and I’ve never gone personally, will definitely be back!

Super friendly service. All to-go. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. The red chile burro was delicious in a fresh flour tortilla with potatoes. The beef mini chimis were also a hit. The red sauce is bomb and really garlicky.

Our friend told us this is a must try and it did not disappoint! Everything was so good! Had gotten a little bit of everything to really grasp what the place had to offer. The popularity here is pretty big so you might have to wait for a little depending on what you order. One thing you have to know its all take out. Most definitely will return!

Recently arrived as a first time visitor. Strictly a “TO GO” place. The place appeared clean, had a friendly staff and served hot, fresh and delicious food with minimal lag time.

The line? Long. The food? AMAZING!

Picked up 30 mini chimis for my work crew as a surprise for them. Everything was of course hot and fresh. I’ve waited longer at fast food places with less customers….seriously, they move in here!

Wish they were closer, but for good food that is rapido?! I will absolutely make this drive again.

You should, too!

Went here for the first time…. Crazy busy, mostly standing room only with a few chairs to sit.

THIS IS A TAKE OUT OR PICK UP ONLY ESTABLISHMENT.

I am pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food.
We both got the Red chili burro combo (burro, rice, beans), an order of chips and salsa and two lrg drinks. I now know why they were so busy… Their prices were VERY fair (cheaper than most fast food places). The workers seem to work well and efficiently together in a pretty fast paced and hectic environment.
The food was pretty good! They have one red salsa that is blended and not too hot, the red chili and tortillas were very good and rice and beans were pretty good also.
Will definitely go back.

Sidenote: Lots of people were ordering the tamales.
Will definitely go back.

I’ve been in Tucson since 1996 and I’ve never ate here. I was told by word of mouth to go here by many friends. Decided to give it a shot was not disappointed This was amazing. The mini chimichangas are to die for. The staff was very friendly it seems to be family-owned and operated. Very nice people! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Mexican food. I will be returning frequently. Let’s not forget the price is affordable!
