Dad & I had lunch at the newest spot on the riverfront — St. Marys Harbor Restaurant – and it was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and our lunch was delicious from start to finish.
Dad ordered the fried shrimp platter and declared it the best fried shrimp he’s ever had – and he’s had plenty over the years! Of course, I had to try one, and he was right. It was perfectly fried with a light lemon pepper batter – crisp, flavorful, and not greasy at all. I enjoyed the Eggplant Bruschetta, which was fresh, savory, and full of flavor.
A big shoutout to our server Heather for her friendly, attentive service, and to the awesome kitchen staff who prepared our memorable lunch. We’ll definitely be back!

The wife and I wanted to try something new. This restaurant just opened the day before. We got there, I ordered the lobster roll and a side salad also eggplant bruschetta. My wife ordered the gyro sandwich and Brussel sprouts. I was disappointed with the lobster rolls I don’t think that was real lobster in the sandwich, it did not taste like lobster. The gyro meat was too thick. The side salad was good the egg plant was good. We were very disappointed. We will give it sometime to see if it gets better.

Jan 9th 2026 – 1pm – – Visiting from Ontario Canada, first time trying this restaurant.
We had the crab cake dinner with sides of coleslaw & veg, and the house burger with fries. Both were PHENOMENAL !
I didn’t catch our server’s name but she was great. Our drinks came out right away, she brought everything we needed to the table before i even got a chance to ask for it, and she checked on us halfway thru the meal to make sure everything was good.
We ate inside, and it was super clean. The menu is extensive, if you can’t find something here that you like, then that’s a YOU problem !

We had a reservation for 15 people for a birthday celebration. Somehow another large group arrived just before us and was given our seating. Not sure what happened but the restaurant was quick to setup another seating arrangement and accommodate 19 people in our group. The waitress who was only on the job for a week did an amazing job under the circumstances. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Although food was slow to come out it was totally understandable with 2 large groups. The kitchen did an amazing job with the food and the single waitress somehow pulled off a miracle. I was so impressed I returned the next day for an amazing breakfast. I give this place 5 stars and the waitress and cook a big thank you. P.S. Happy 85th Birthday Mom! Oh and they let us bring our own cake…….

I had the chicken eggplant parmigiana. It was SO GOOD!! The eggplant was amazing. My boyfriend had the fried rock shrimp and he loved them. It was more food than we could eat. There is a beautiful view through the window of the water and had it been warmer outside, the porch would have been a lovely place to eat.

Had plans to be in the St Marys area and was looking for a place to have a nice dinner. After a review of some places we decided to try this place out and we wasn’t disappointed. The food was very good. We both got a bowl of their Chicken Lemon Soup. The menu description states “over rice” but that only meant there was rice in the soup. We both love a good Lemon Rice Soup that we get up north so this one was very close except it had chicken in it. And they don’t skimp on the chicken. We shared a Blackened Grouper Fish dinner and it was plenty for us. We didn’t want to take home any leftovers. The service was good. The reason only gave 4 stars was due to there only being 1 waitress for our dining area and she was very busy so we had to wait longer for her attention than we normally have to wait. The atmosphere was very cold. I know it’s probably hard to please everyone. So we look forward to another visit to St Marys and the St Marys Harbor Restaurant.

My 2 friends and I came in after getting off the ferry from a day trip to Cumberland. We were originally looking for another restaurant but it was closed for a private event so we tried here instead as it was pouring down rain and we were soaked, freezing, and exhausted and looking for something to warm us up. Best thing that happened all day! We each had the Harbor lemon chicken soup and split the loaded truffle fries and a blueberry cheesecake. The food was fresh and the flavors were amazing and the portions were large enough to fill us up. The restaurant is cute and clean and out server was very nice. I definitely want to come back if I’m ever in St Mary’s again.

I had dinner with a girlfriend last week and it was fantastic. Ashley was our server. She was very attentive, gave great suggestions and was a joy to chat with.
I had the Chicken Marsala and my friend had the Pork Steak. Both very flavorful, great portions and plated nicely.
I brought home some baked goods for breakfast the following day. The croissant was the perfect texture and the chocolate filling was delicious. Also hands down one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve had locally.
I cannot wait to go back and try the eggplant entree suggested by Jose!

Our group of 5 enjoyed breakfast here on our weekend trip to St. Mary’s. The food was FABULOUS! Generous servings, beautifully plated, fresh and delicious! And the view overlooks the water. Tammy was our waitress and could not have been nicer! We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day (Sunday), but they are closed on Sunday’s. Highly recommend!

Unique restaurant for St Marys overlooking our Harbor and the tour boats to Cumberland Island. Now there is a wine and beer selection which we missed first time here. Our selections included the gyro sandwich previously a staple of the prior Riverside cafe and just as good freshly prepared. Our vegetarian had the tropical salad which was delicious and enough for two. Finally I had the Seafood Fruit Pasta with shrimp and lobster (it’s not from Maine but still tasty). My entree was too much for me (I should have fasted for 2 days prior) and I missed out on the luscious desserts. Next time I’ll eat less to save room. This venue is a super addition to our waterfront and complements its sister restaurant, Locals Dockside.
