I just have to say that my three stars for atmosphere is only because it’s a pizzeria. It’s not dirty, but it’s just a pizzeria.
I randomly went in there and had two slices not expecting it to be as good as it was. Then after talking to the owner I realized why. He used to work at Saviano’s in Bohemia which also has really good pizza.
I had to go back a second time to see if it was consistent and it was!

St. James Pizza & Pasta is a great place to visit if you’re passing through St. James and have a craving for some good pizza.
The staff is super friendly, which seems to be a rarity these days. They were even nice enough to serve my kid’s food warm so she wouldn’t burn herself. Great service like that will keep me coming back.
The pizza here is good! I tried the regular slice and the Sicilian. Both had a great tasting sauce, the proper amount of cheese and a nice crunch to the crust. I’ll definitely give this place another try the next time I pass though.

My girlfriend and I stopped by recently as we were in town visiting a friend. The pizza is WAYYY overpriced for what they charge and not worth it. 4 slices and 2 drinks $22???? Place is very cramped and they try and upsell you on everything you choose. It was MUCH better years ago when it was Matt’s.

Blessed to live 5 mins away. Excellent slice of pizza. Perfect balance of thin crust that holds the delicious sauce and cheese. Hard to find this kind of old school slice alchemy on Long Island. Jenny and Darren and their team are salt of the earth. Try this pizza.

I frequent this restaurant often, for Cassandra to say that the owners there are not compassionate could not be farther from the truth. The owners at this establishment are kind, accommodating, and they truly care about the members of this community. And to top it off, there is no pizza in a 20 mile radius as good as St. James Pizza. If you don’t believe me go see for yourself.

Update! If you give this place less than 5 stars, you have to be insane! They just catered my sons High School graduation party. The food was out of this world! Every single person at the party asked me where I got the food from and could not stop talking about how delicious it was! I was so worried that we ordered to much food, nope! 14 trays of food gone without a single leftover! Everyone just kept going back for more and more! A huge shout out and thank you to Darren and Jenny and their staff! You guys made this party a hit! See you soon for more and more and more deliciousness!

What nice people! Picked up pies donated for a fundraiser and everyone was extremely nice! Location is very clean and appealing! Pizza was absolutely delicious! Looking forward to going back to try some other fun dishes.
