The C’s
It was the golf resort off season, so I will give the atmosphere some slack. It’s a nice cozy place with a bar and restaurant style seating. It was clean and quiet, very quiet. Our group made up the majority of the clientele. So if you want a nice quiet meal, this would have been perfect for you.
The food was delicious. The black and blue burger was delicious and the bacon slices were thick and plentiful. The toppings were fresh. The meat was cooked as asked and the blue cheese was enough to add that signature flavor. The house chips that come with the meal were very good. You can get fries, onion rings, or sweet potato fries for an up charge. The complementary pickle was crunchy and not a floppy mess.
The gyro was good as well. The meat is a mix of lamb and beef, so no choosing. The same pickle and chips were ordered as part of the meal.
Our server was professional and polite. She was attentive but could have been a bit more on top of things.
The meal with two adult drinks came to be ~$50 without the tip. You are most likely going there for the atmosphere.

We went for the play and stay. We bought beers and received ice with them. After playing 18 we only drank half of the beer but needed more ice because we decided to play another 18. The bar maid refused to give us more ice. She was extremely rude. I guess $8/beer wasn’t enough to warrant more ice. Anyway the golf was good but there are so many great courses in Michigan. From now on I’ll choose anywhere else but this place.

If they are under staffed, best to go to tullymore or somewhere else. Staff should never greet guests with “I’m the only one here, it’s going to be a while” and instead just bring the menus, water and silverware. At that point state you will be back as soon as possible. DON’T EXLAIN DON’T COMPLAIN.
The burgers are awesome if they don’t over cook them. The steak tips were most delicious, but they are no longer on the menu. Maybe a weekend special??

The walleye was over cooked and had no flavor. Maybe if it had some lemon are even copious amounts of salt, I could have been mildly satisfied. The mashed potatoes were awful, I was hoping they would help. On a positive note, the asparagus was delightful (thanks to the season).
I get it, don’t order seafood from a “pub”, but I suggest they remove the walleye from the menu. It has been in the freezer way too long.

Somewhat basic, but really really good. My wife’s “half” salad was awesome and my burger was delicious. With 2 good draught beers, total bill was under$45. Great experience.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I had a sm salad w/grilled chicken and a delicious bowl of broccoli beer cheese soup. Both were great! The salad was so big that I had to take half of it home!!

Called to see if they could handle 10 of us. They said ok. 38 + mins. No waiter. Got 1 drink for the 6 that were left 29 later served food. I would not go back EVER!!!
