Hearing about this restaurant’s origins connecting it to the Vandecasteele’s owners they started off as a small eatery that gradually expanded but always served simple high quality home-cooked meals. This is indeed a cosy restaurant brimming with warmth and good food. The steak was perfectly done, pickles were delightful and the fries were the best. I also tried the grilled lamb and even though lacked the char that I was accustomed to, it was perfectly done and held just enough flavor without being overpowering. In short, the skills it took to prepare that meal to perfection could only come with doing something well consistently on a daily basis. I’m glad to have been able to experience this and can only wish to visit again one day.

Meat was amazing!
Cooked very well, super tender, juicy.
The appetizers were pickles , I don’t like a lot but they were very good, consider that I’m Italian.
A bit slow the service but we were 15 persons and the meat needed to time for cooking.
The price is high compared Italian price but I guess for locals is pretty normal.

Fabulous hospitality and great food. This is a very special family orientated restaurant, which has created a great ambience. The meat was superb and the doggie bag…too good for my dogs & I love my dogs. This restaurant is doing something very unique. Don’t miss out on the home made ice cream. Delicious from beginning to end.
