After you grab your drink, head on out to our 4,500-square-foot deck that sits at Gonzales Creek and overlooks the Intercoastal Waterway. Under twinkling lights you can enjoy live music that will be playing on our stage every day of the week. The upgraded and oversized gas fire pit sits in the middle of the deck. It provides the perfect place to gather around with friends to roast your own s’mores that will be available on their menu. If the atmosphere doesn’t make you want to come, the food certainly will. Our extensive menu specializes in fresh fish with Southern flare. We serve 8 different varieties of fresh fish that are sourced locally whenever possible. If not local, they are sourced domestically. Never imported.
Laid-back restaurant with open-air dining showcasing fish, crab & oysters, plus cocktails & brunch.

Food is fantastic. Salads are fresh & Huge portions. Good frozen “beach” drinks. Best hush puppies in all St Augustine – Just get the jam on the side!
We visited twice in three days span. July 10th the restaurant was not crowded and we had a good experience. We returned July 12th and had good food but apparently the kitchen was extremely backed up. We were there for over two hours. We ordered unlimited shrimp and never received our refill until we got up to leave. We walked to the front to pay our bill. Our server was kind and apologetic but appeared to be working too many tables and was just unable to attend to our needs. Definitely a great restaurant but may not be the best place to go with a larger group of people, which we were a party of 14.
First review below:
Great food. Nice environment. Plan to return. The pimento cheese grits were amazing.
For food we had the fried gator tail, we weren’t sure what to expect. It was surprisingly mild and tender.
The stuffed grouper was out of this world, honestly it was so perfect it didn’t even need to be stuffed with cheesy crab meat. We also had the captain’s platter, which is a variety of sea food. All of it was cooked perfect, but my god, the scallops were melt in your mouth buttery heaven.
We both had bacon collard greens, which were good, the cheesy grits were delicious and the hush puppies, we agreed, were probably the best we’ve ever had.
The only thing that happened was we were told we’ll probably need reservations, we tired calling a few times on different phones and we couldn’t get through, even though the line picked up. So we drove the 8 minutes from downtown and took a chance. Luckily we were able to get a table but September is the off season so that probably helped.
In summary, this restaurant was the best of our stay, pretty location, great food and drinks, excellent service. Will recommend to anyone coming within an hour stay of St. Augustine and we are going to think about this place while we are in the seafood desert that is Ohio. We’d come back just to eat here again.
