We were in Cartersville and wanted to get a bite to eat. We looked at the the area and decided that we wanted some Thai. We read the reviews on here and decide to give it a try. First of all, let me address hospitality. Such warm and friendly people work here. You know if you come and our friendly and open people be friendly back to you. Not saying other reviewers or not friendly people but we had absolutely no problem. Just had to get over some language barrier.
Now the food was wonderful. Some of the best I’ve had. We don’t go to food trucks. Don’t know why. We much rather dine in so to speak. But we sat outside the little table other than some traffic going by which was kind of interesting. But it’s like dining alfresco other places. Was fine. Of course most of their items are to go and so they’re going to be and to go containers or bagged up. I mean it’s a food truck. But great food. Great humble people. Please stop by. This location is very new to them and hopefully it can become a success. We’ll definitely be back

Discovering this place was the best highlight of my visit to the area. Wonderful!! My food allergies (including shellfish) were a non-issue with dishes being made to order from scratch including sauces which is incredibly rare to find. The owner is such an amusing and friendly woman, we ended up chatting the entire time I waited for my order. When I asked if their 1-5 heat rating was a Thai range or white people range I got a good laugh out of her (it’s a white range fyi).. She happily went through the menu with me picking out what she thought I’d like best and made it a Thai-4/5 spice rating which was perfection. Quite a few items on the menu are Americanized Chinese dishes that she purposely offers to accommodate locals who are not used to legit thai flavors. Told me to let her know when I’m visiting again so she can make me some dishes not on the menu – she won my heart, love her lol..

Wife and I visited Oct 6. 2022 about 6pm. There is no table service. You walk up to a partially covered counter (Covid leftovers I suppose) and order from a lady standing there with a mask on. She takes your order, charges a lot of money for a little food, and asks you to seat yourself.
The food was nominal, lacked any real flavor, but portions were decent sized.
I had the pineapple fried rice (no flavor and dry); wife had the spicy jungle curry which had a little flavor but not very spicy overall.
The coconut soup (Tom Kah soup) was ok.
Parking was easy. Place was clean appearing. Food prices were high for quality. Service was nonexistent.
It was a very strange, lackluster and almost depressing experience. Will not return.

The food was excellent. We had spring rolls as an appetizer and they were hit, crispy and perfectly filled. I had pineapple fried rice as an entree and it was full of peppers, onions, and shrimp, but felt it definitely needed more pineapple, I only found a few pieces. My husband had a chicken dish and chose dynamite got for the heat level. He loves spicy food and found their sauce to be excellent. Our only complaint was the difficulty ordering (no table service at all). The paper menu had such tiny print we needed to use our phone camera to blow up the size so we could read it. And due to no table service, you have to bring your drink up to the counter for a refill, which when you’re eating something spicy you drink a lot, so that was very inconvenient. We ended up cutting dinner short and taking the rest home to eat where we could get enough to drink. Other than the lack of table service this place was great and the food was outstanding.

For everyone saying the owner is rude, you probably don’t understand Asian culture at the least. With her accent she also pronounces words a little more harshly, as that is normal. And the culture communicates differently as a whole. I am honestly shocked that there was even a Thai restaurant in this town to begin with! And if you give them a chance, they’ve been surviving for 7 years to date on people who only understand the culture and the cuisine. The food tasted how it should. We had curry and pad woon-sen. Ordering at the window didn’t bother me (yes it’s different) but that’s just what they prefer. Only thing I would have liked dining in was actual china to eat on instead of the Togo container. But people seriously, their from Thailand, not Georgia. So, cartersville, have some patience and understanding with people from other countries.

The food is delicious and the service is great! I was unfamiliar with most of the dishes, but our server was able to show us pictures of the food and that helped us out a lot. She also asked us about flavors we prefer eating, and she made recommendations that we might like, and she was totally right!

If I can only rate this restaurant with zero star. This place is horrible. The moment we step into the restaurant. We saw a sign that says, “If you want order to-go or you want dine-in, come and see me”. So my friend and I went all the way to the back of the restaurant, and this lady in her 60’s. Ask us a question where we come from. It looks like she was so scared that we might have some kind of transmitted disease or virus. She puts her face shield immediately and she asked us again where we come from. We said, we’re from Georgia.
She took the menu of the restaurant and gave us a long 15 mins. lecture. I told her, we know what to order. We’ve been to thai restaurant many times. She insisted that we listen to her and our eyes must be on the menu not to her. We were treated like a kindergarten. My friend and I were starving and we just really want to place our order. When we place our order, she said “you have to pay first and give me your card”, so I gave her my card, she didn’t even told me the price of the food. She just said it’s total $50.00.
Because I can’t stand her negative attitude, I sign the bill and even give her a tip. But later on, I was thinking how did 2 Padthai and 1 appetizer with no drinks cost $50?
When our food came, it was served in a Styrofoam. Which I was disappointed because what’s the point of dine-in? Not only that, she gave us a super cheap toilet paper instead of napkins.
The food looks delicious, but when I ate it, it was too salty. Kinda remind me of Chinese food. Neither my friend didn’t finish her food.
The restaurant has sign everywhere like a kindergarten classroom. Even a trashcan has a sign that says, “Trash go here” which is very self-explainatory, later on, I understand, it’s because, it’s a dine-in restaurant but you have to clean your table as you go. This woman is so paranoid with germs. Also, she keeps on asking me where I came from because I look Asian, in my mind, why would it matter? But eventually, I told her I am from the Philippines.
This woman is extremely rude. The food is not even great! She is a disgrace to Thai people because Thai people are friendly, gentle and kind. But this woman acts like women from China; Rude and arrogant.
Will definitely not comeback anymore.

WOW! Authentic Thai! Sriracha Thai is a hidden gem in downtown Cartersville. The food is amazing. Owner is super nice and welcoming. Very informative on extensive menu options. Highly recommend.
10-Dec-2019: Finally made it back to Sriracha Thai for our 2nd visit. Food is absolutely fantastic. The owner is a delight a fun to chat with. We cannot wait to return.

Ordered the spicy basil fried rice with chicken… it’s literally doesn’t have a flavor at all. The only thing I taste is the spice, other than that it’s basically cardboard. Not even salty just zero flavor. I’m also very dissatisfied with the owner. She was extremely rude and kept talking to me like I was stupid or something. All around my experience was awful.if I could give zero stars I would
