I’ve gone a couple times now. I get easily confused so knowing how to order was difficult for me, but I called and they told me! If you’re ordering to go, go right up to the counter/register amd place your order, if you’re dining in just take a seat and they’ll come bring you a menu!
The food is well spiced, not to much, not to little. My food has only been a bit spicy, enough to feel it but not to bother you, but I also avoid the spicier options cause im weak. Its well portioned for a single person and is delicious!!!
The wait staff can be slow at times, but there seems to be only 4 people in front and back so they can be overwhelmed, but they’re always polite and willing to answer my questions on food!!!
The place is small, feels well cleaned, and the music (always indian music) is at a good volume where it sets an atmosphere but isn’t too loud. They also vary it from traditional music, to more upbeat. Its a nice place to eat!
My only complaint is that all the drinks are in bottles/cans. Even the water. But it is still worth every penny!!!
Overall I’d say it’s a must try place if you’re curious about or enjoy indian food!!!
As for the meal size and price I thought it was appropriate for what we got! Plenty of leftovers to take home for later, and this was our first meal of the day.
We had the best Indian food On our drive from Tampa to Houston.
Veg Thali was very tasty especially Sambar and curry.
Idly and peanut chutney was awesome.
We even took an order of Sambar and rice for to go
Seriously this is THE best Indian food in the area, and probably one of the best Indian places I’ve been to. The flavor profiles are deep and complex with good spice even at the base level. So far we have tried the chicken korma, butter chicken, aloo masala, samosas, samosa chaat, and masala dosa. Every single thing was fantastic and I would order them again if I wasn’t so excited to try other things on the menu. I’m going to order at least three different types of dosa next time we go.
Please give this place your business. They deserve it as much as your taste buds deserve the culinary pampering. Enjoy!
We visited around 2:05 PM and missed their thali, which is only served until 2 PM, but the samosas and lassi were outstanding.
The only minor downside was the egg fried rice—it was bland and not recommended.
Apart from that, everything tasted real and authentic. Easily one of the best Indian eateries in the U.S., and a must-visit for anyone craving genuine Indian flavor.
Another downside is their service. Think it is a small family run restaurant. At busy times, everyone stays in kitchen, maing it hard to order and find status.
Otherwise the best place for indian, esp. South indian flavors. If you are in this area, plz visit this place.
