The food was amazing! I’m from Boston, and there’s a lot of diversity with food. When I moved, I lost all of that. It’s been years since I’ve had Haitian food. Sr Marie Resturant didn’t disappoint. Everything I ordered from the chicken to the plantains, and the rice was mouth watering. The food is authentic, and you can tell! I will be going back whenever I’m in the area.

I order the goat for myself with the dark rice. Oh so tender and the right amount of spicy. Also order the chicken. I think the portions are great. Cant wait to try the red snapper next time!

I knew nothing of this place until today, I initially went to get icecream from ice and roll. My brother pointed out Sr Marie’s and we ran inside. I’ve been craving oxtail for a long time. So when I saw that they had oxtail I ordered immediately. I ordered the stewed oxtail, with coconut rice, salad and fried plantain. I also got a mango juice smoothie which was absolutely delicious, I didn’t get to picture it for you because ti was gone as fast as I got it. As well as I got a beef patty and it was delicious and spicy and just perfect.

We went to Ice N’ Roll and saw Sr Marie on our way back to the car. We were in the mood for some plantains and thought we’d try the fish plate and the chicken plate. The food was delicious, beautiful, and generous. It tasted like we were actually in the Caribbean. You could tell they were passionate about their food. This place was a gem and if you like Haitian food you should go there right now.
