Established in 1974. Squirrel’s Tavern is a long-time celebrated local business in downtown Corvallis. A favorite drinking hole for locals, students and travelers alike. Funky, fun and welcoming. Our first time here. Service was great, burger my partner had heard was great, my nachos were meh. Nachos were pretty bland, chicken was tasteless, that said there were BIG. The toppings that came separate for some reason: sour cream, salsa, pepperoncini: were good. Next time will try a burger.

I stopped in on a Monday afternoon for a couple beers. It has a great atmosphere and is obviously a well established staple in the area. The service was friendly but not hovering, which I appreciate. The decor and music choice alone is worth stopping in for a beer.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant, always drawn to their fantastic burgers. However, my recent experience was rather disappointing. I was disrespected by a staff member who raised her voice at me while interacting cheerfully and loudly with other customers. It was a jarring contrast that left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable. I hope this was an isolated incident and not reflective of the establishment’s overall customer service, as I’ve enjoyed my past visits here

My husband and I recently ate here and not only did we both get incredibly sick but the staff gave themselves a 90% gratuity we did not authorize whatsoever. Their phones do not work so we have been unable to get ahold of them to let them know what happened. This was our first and last time eating here.
