The lobster crab burger takes the… cake for the best burger in Melbourne, just edging out a great contender in the burger place cheeseburger.
My wife and I enjoyed a rare date night, thanks mom for watching preston, we walked on down to squid lips, sat by the sea and pretended like we were kids again just a year and a half ago, empty-nesters. The journey to replenishment of the tax base has been worth it I will say.

Couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch at Squid Lips and loved everything about it. This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in Melbourne. We were greeted by the hostess, who gave us an overview of the restaurant and seated us by the window. We had a wonderful view of the Intracoastal Waterway and a bridge to the beaches. Our waitress was friendly and attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely amazing. Since we both got lunch specials, the price we paid was a really good deal. We will be returning here the next time we are in the area.

Nice atmosphere, good service. The dinner and lunch menu’s are different, so make sure you are looking at the right menu b4 you go. I had my heart set on seafood lasagna but it wasn’t available when we went. I’ll have to make it back just to try. My burger was good and weather was great.

Mitchell our waiter was so awesome and brought out our food quickly. The vibes here are amazing the people are cool and the drinks are always made just right. Great food choices and sitting by the beach is so cool . Look for dolphins as you can see some once in a while. Just a great place

Excellent place for a Saturday lunch. Ocean breeze made sitting outside on the beach area wonderful. Silly Lilly was amazing at taking care of me and my party. Drinks and appetizer came out quick, entrees were fantastic. Will definitely return in the future!

Very disappointed… went there for happy hour, wanting to check it out, but never got the happy hour menue, which I was told as I was leaving, that I had to specifically ask for, but I did ask the waitress and she just rattled off a few items and told me basically it was the appetizers, but that wasn’t true. Since I don’t do alcohol, my drink was normal price.
The ambient wasn’t all that great there, pretty run down outside by the river. Could use a new make over. Won’t be bringing my out of town friends there.

We stopped by Squid Lips for lunch and were seated literally right on the beach overlooking the water—such an incredible spot to relax and take in the view. The food was really good, well prepared, and came out quickly. Drinks were also well crafted and hit the mark.
The best part, though, was our server. He was young and seemed relatively new, but he was an absolute blast. Friendly, fun, and a great sport the whole time. He made the experience even better.
Overall, a great place for lunch with awesome views, good food, and memorable service. Would definitely recommend.

Never a bad experience here! Sitting in the sand, with a beautiful view, and warm sun. The key lime Martin was to die for!! The service was amazing. Food was delicious, I took my aunt here because she’s had a rough few weeks and is in town. She has done nothing but rave about this day all week. Truly a mini paradise.

We have been here a few times when visiting the area and have had some good experiences. Unfortunately, we ordered for pick up and we were really dissatisfied. For $15.99 per entree, we were really disappointed that they were so skimpy with the sides. We spent over $100 for our 5 meals and every single one had smaller than usual portions. The worst part is that someone in our party had a gluten allergy and the containers were not marked with which was the gluten free bun. So it took us a long time to figure out which was theirs. This was a huge disappointment after being excited to visit the restaurant during our stay here.
