Square is a really lovely spot for pizza in Newcastle. There aren’t loads of seats inside, but you can sit outside or perch comfortably. The staff were super friendly and took the time to explain the different pizzas. The food was absolutely delicious — I had the vegetarian pizza and my friend had the chicken parma, both amazing, and the waffle fries were a standout. With a Coke Zero, the whole meal only came to £12, which was great value. The place is really well decorated with a cool vibe, and the customer service couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!

The square it’s our third time. We love the chewy,cheesy pizza square. Our favourite bada bing and truffle fries. Veg a squarian is equally good. Vegan options available. Friendly staff and great place with peppy music. Definitely try it out if you haven’t.

Absolutely outstanding square pizza. Crispy, golden edges with a soft, fluffy centre – cooked to perfection. The toppings were generous, full of flavour, and clearly high quality, with great balance in every bite. Loved the presentation too, simple but spot on, and perfect for sharing. Easily a 5/5 and somewhere I’ll be coming back to again and again.

This place gets a 10/10 all round. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and shared some great recommendations! The pizza was amazing, great value for money but the dips were truly the highlight. If you’re thinking of trying, do it!! You won’t be disappointed.

I had such an amazing experience at Square Pizza! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. But what really made my visit stand out was the service. My server, Jason, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome the entire time. It’s rare to find service that makes a meal even more enjoyable, but Jason did exactly that.
I’ll definitely be coming back, not only for the pizza (which is incredible!) but also because of the outstanding service. Highly recommend Square Pizza— Jason rocks !!!

Visited here for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely outstanding, the best Detroit style pizza and possibly the best waffle fries I’ve ever had!
I got the lunchtime deal (one slice, a portion of waffle fries, a “crust buddies” dip, and a soft drink), and my partner got one slice. Don’t worry, we shared the fries and dip!
I will definitely be looking to come back here again in the future.

Great little pizza place. There are plenty of options and the pizzas are delicious. We had the Clancy Wiggam and the pep talk pizza. Looking forward to returning to try some other pizzas.

It’s got that charred cheese flavour of a good breville toastie. Really good quality ingredients.
I have to have a craving for it to order here. It’s quite pricey at £30+ for a half and half pizza and £5+ for waffle fries. They are the best waffle fries I’ve ever had though.
