We had such a wonderful experience at Square Pie Pizza today! I brought my students here, and everything from start to finish was exceptional. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care and pride.
Lew and Ed were beyond kind, warm, welcoming, and fun! Lew even took the time to show us how he coats the breadcrumbs for the Arancini, which was such a thoughtful and educational moment for my students. They made us feel truly included and valued, not just like customers but like special guests.
Their kindness, patience, and willingness to share their craft made the visit extra special. The atmosphere was inviting, the service was outstanding, and the pizza, meatballs and salad were absolutely delicious. We are so grateful for the experience and highly recommend Square Pie! We will definitely be back! 🙂

Had a wonderful experience at Square Pie while visiting Philadelphia. Got the MVP & White pies along with a Cesar salad. We enjoyed everything but the chefs kiss to the MVP pie. The meatballs that are sliced thin and put on . Our server was the owners father and he was exceptional! I will definitely be back!

I love this place! The warm ambiance and friendly staff make it special. Once, when I spilled my meatballs on the way home, they remembered me and sent me a new order on the house! Their pizza is top-notch too. Highly recommend!

ATE HERE EXPECTING A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. Got a pizza for one and was AMAZED, as it was absolutely delish. the ambience? ABSOLUTELY HARROWING CHOICE OF MUSIC. made eating my pancetta spinach and white sauce pizza for ONE a deeply uncomfortable experience. Like being at YOUR LITTLE COUSINS Bar Mitzvah and her MOTHER (Your Aunt) is expecting you to participate in COKE VS. PEPSI. I don’t want to listen to KPOP DEMON hunters on my quiet Sunday evening. Great neighborhood gem! The staff was very helpful and accommodating of my friend and I requesting to get the speciality pizzas without various meats. We got the MVP and white sausage (both without meat) and they were awesome! The MVP is some of the best pizza I’ve had, the vodka sauce and flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy. It is also a byob.

I stopped by Square Pie for lunch. The pizza is amazing. I got a red pie with pepperoni. Like others said, the crust is amazing. The best part was Lew & Giuliano. Giuliano is the owner and his dad is Lew. Great people. Super nice. You can tell they love what they do. It is BYOB, so don’t forget to bring a bottle of wine or beer. All around a great place—nice people, great pizza, and a comfortable place.

Got the mushroom pizza — super filling with a great crispy undercarriage. It was a little more burnt to my liking, and I felt it could use a bit more sauce, but overall it was solid. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Right now, I think Square Pie is the best pizza in the city. I’ve added it to the list of places I’ll be taking my friends and family when they visit. It’s so crunchy and so soft at the same time with just unreal flavor. The owner, Jules (sp?), super nice, too. Can tell he’s super passionate about pizza! Oh, and the house made hot sauce is just as incredible as the pizza.
