Such a great place! We got the elote corn nuggets as an appetizer that was paired with a dip, so flavorful and crispy. We go a flight of 3 small pizzas which was not only yummy but great price! The first pizza we got was a pepperoni, the middle was the honey pizza, and the last one was a mashed potato pizza. The pepperoni and honey pizza were cooked perfect, thin crust! The mashed potato was decent, the crust was a little mushy and the flavor wasn’t the best but overall everything else was great! Definitely recommend!

The place is pretty loud and gets louder as the night goes on. Came with 2 kids. Did a pizza flight and a Detroit pizza. Was impressed as this was way better than the new haven pizza he had recently and didnt like.

If you like bread-y pizza I highly suggest the third option that has syrup. I did not trust the waitress, but she was right. It was good. Even the next morning. The cheese one, pesto one, and the one with olives and burrata cheese was good, next time I’ll skip the olives. The sauce was good.

Salad had no flavor in the dressing. I wont try that one again.

Waitress was great but as the place got busier we got forgotten as she was out in charge of a party. Not her fault – she was great and friendly and helpful.

My wife ordered a pizza to go after her work party for myself and my son. This has to be one of the most under cooked and floppy pizza I have ever had, it’s not edible. The dough practically falls apart. It’s like chewing gum, that’s how soft the dough is. I will not be getting another pizza from this place again, it’s awful.

This was my first time ordering from here. I generally enjoy brick oven pizza, especially the thin, crispy crust that usually comes with that style. I ordered a small cheese pizza for delivery, and it arrived about an hour after placing the order, which was within expectations. There was a brief delay when the delivery driver initially went to my neighbor’s driveway, but we were able to sort it out within a few minutes. Unfortunately, the pizza itself was only slightly warm when it arrived, and the remaining slices cooled off quickly. Since I live just over two miles from the restaurant, I wouldn’t have expected it to arrive that way. The biggest disappointment was the texture. For a brick oven pizza, I was expecting a crisp, well-cooked base, but the center was noticeably doughy, while the outer crust was cooked nicely. The cheese and sauce were also somewhat underwhelming in flavor. In total, the order came to about $21 with delivery and tip. At that price point, I was hoping for a higher level of quality. Based on this experience, I’m not sure I would order delivery again, but I hope this feedback is helpful.

I recently hosted my birthday party at Square Peg Pizzeria, and it was the perfect spot for a fun and memorable celebration! We did the pizza-making and wine-tasting class, and it was such a hit with everyone. Each guest got to make their own pizza, sample 3 wine pours during the tasting, and then enjoy 2 additional full pours afterward. At only $38 per person, it was an incredible value—totally worth every penny!

The team at Square Peg was so accommodating, flexible, and friendly from start to finish. They provided us with a private room that was perfect for hosting the event, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The staff were amazing—knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time. I was able to decorate the room with my own decor & tableware although they do provide tableware etc if needed!

Highly recommend Square Peg Pizza for any celebration or private event—you won’t be disappointed!

Square Peg Pizza – The Best Detroit-Style in the State, But Pricey

If you’re on the hunt for the best Detroit-style pizza in Connecticut, look no further than Square Peg Pizza. The crust is that perfect balance of crispy edges and soft, airy inside, with just the right amount of caramelized cheese hugging the edges. Every bite is packed with bold flavors, high-quality toppings, and a sauce that ties it all together beautifully.

That being said, one pizza with a tip sets you back $37, which is definitely on the high end. While the quality justifies the price, it’s something to keep in mind if you’re feeding a group. Still, for a Detroit-style pie that truly delivers, Square Peg Pizza is worth every penny.

Pizza is always delicious, both the thin crust and the Detroit style, always leave feeling full and happy. Square Peg uses good quality ingredients, and you can taste it.

I only have one complaint (it wouldn’t keep me from future visits, just maybe not as many visits as I may like). The price was a bit steep for their Detroit style, 30.00. So, while I may not arrive with a large party to feed, feeding two people is more accommodating. With this being said, the only thing the higher price will do is make it so I don’t visit quite as much as I would like because the pizza is absolutely delicious!

Our first time trying and we are in love we will definitely be coming back! The appetizer’s were delicious, and the pizza even better! And the Soda was nice and bubbly which most places don’t offer anymore. I highly recommend.

Salads and pizza were delicious (thin crust with the perfect balance of crunch and chewiness!) and Lila gave us the best customer service experience we’ve had in a long time in any restaurant. She was very attentive, kind, and when our order had to be fixed she was on it immediately. If you go to Square Peg in Glastonbury, ask for Lila!

This place was packed on a Wednesday night for happy hour. My peg – arita was so good I got a second one. The pork meatball plus chicken wings were perfect. Pepperoni pizza was very salty.
