Outstanding food. Had the chicken tetrazzini casserole, Italian penne pasta and dessert tray for a family gathering. Wow- just wow – I’ve never been a tetrazzini girl – I am now – can’t wait to try all their dishes.
I love the family feel – walking right into the kitchen and picking up the food! Love it.
The management and staff could not be kinder – customer service at its finest. They know what they’re doing!
Thank you, Julia, Tyler and the rest of your wonderful staff, Carey.

Stopped in for the first time yesterday to try them out. I wanted to try a half sandwich/half salad combo but they wouldn’t do that with the buffalo shrimp wrap I had. I got the broccoli salad as my side which was a pretty small portion, but the wrap itself was substantial but had a lot of lettuce. The flavor was pretty good but it didn’t seem to be very evenly distributed with the sauces. Some bites were very dry and bland and others were good and flavorful. I would go back and try something different for sure. Not a bad first experience but I feel like they’re are better things than what I tried.

So after reading up on the Square Onion, my son and I headed over for lunch today. The only aspect that surprised me was that there was no indoor seating but that was not an issue for us as there was plenty of outdoor seating and the weather was cooperating. The gentleman that took our order at the window was very nice, I got the half Meredith and half andouille and white bean soup, my son got the goose. The food came out within minutes after ordering and everything was absolutely delicious! We have high standards when it comes to sandwiches and my son said it was the best one he’s had in this area. They also serve several different types of casseroles that I will go back to investigate further. Do not pass on the Square Onion, its a creative concept in a pretty location with great food.

People taking the order is rude both times we have been there, unless you are a regular. We heard the person working offer a chicken orzo soup to the customer so I ordered it, the man told me it was a soup of the day!

I agree with most reviews that it is a bit pricey, but the food is definitely delicious. There is seating outside the restaurant as well to enjoy your lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy sandwiches. The quiche was also absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.

Love this place! My favorite sandwich is the Sassafras. Its delicious.
I just wish the portion sizes made more sense for the high prices. I’m totally fine with paying more for good, well-portioned food, but the sandwiches and sides feel a bit underwhelming for what they cost. 🙁 My mac and cheese side, which I pay an extra $3 for, was only half full, and a very small cup. Pretty disappointing. If the portion sizes better reflected the pricing, I’d honestly eat here way more often, but overall, I do like their food a lot.

For a place that’s only to go they are extremely rude for no reason. You’d think the little interaction would limit it but every single time the guys are working it’s always a bad experience. The one lady I’ve seen working is very nice but the two main guys seem completely miserable and take it out on other people instead of working on controlling their emotions.

We had two of the turkey parm, they were ok but definitely not worth the price. We paid around $35 for two smaller sandwiches with little sides that come in basically a sauce cup and no drinks. They don’t even display the prices on the menu probably cuz people would think twice if they saw it ahead of time. Also we waited a good while for them to be made to take with us to the beach.
