I attempted to sit on the patio this evening. I had my service dog with me and was refused service even on the patio even after informing the staff that my dog was a certified service dog. The staff person led me out to the patio where there was 3 empty tables that had not been bussed. The staffer was like see plus there isn’t any empty tables. Meanwhile there were 2 staff members, bartenders, sitting at one of the dirty tables smoking. One of the bartenders, an oversized white man, mad a rude comment to us and we left. I hope this goes viral and people do not support this establishment. I know I never will!

I was in town for a football game and decided to stop in after seeing the great reviews online. When I walked in, I honestly wasn’t sure I was in the right spot—I thought I’d been punked!
The ordering system is not ideal, and the line to order can grow very long, very quickly. However, once you get through that hurdle, everything else is a wonderful surprise! I ordered the cheese curds (out-of-this-world amazing!), a burger (good, but normal), and a Blacksburgian (definitely not for the timid!). Even with the game-day crowd, the service was excellent, especially from Michael. He was super attentive and helpful, and made us feel like truly special customers. I would definitely recommend this as a must-try if you’re in town and looking for a truly local experience!

Am in town for work and this place was recommended. Cozy spot with a fun vibe. Had the French Dip and it was the best I have ever had in my life. I am writing this while still here and am full, but am still debating ordering another French Dip to go.

A coworker and I are in town from WI for work for a bit and are just missing our little dive-y bars. This one will do, though it’s missing the crabby old men, bar dice, and the blue collar guys coming straight from the jobsite…and the booze selection lol. But the service here is great and it has a more bar atmosphere than the restaurants around. We will be back!

Do not go there for food. We did and it was a mistake. Now I’m sure if I was drinking and not worried about when my food will get there it would have been better, but that was not the case. Server/door security was absolutely rude. We didn’t know the QR code (that you can barely see on the bar) was the menu, and he was rude about it. That is besides the point, It took OVER an hour and a half to get cheese fries and a side salad to get to our table, it also was just decent tasting. I’m just glad they had vinegar for the fries. They were not busy with food items either. If you just want to drink Sure it may be a good place but not for food.

The food was SO good. I can’t believe I’ve lived here 8 years and hadn’t given this place a try until now. The cheese curds are unreal. I went to Wisconsin for 2 weeks back in 2015 and I haven’t been able to find cheese curds on that level since. Until these. I was rendered speechless. The bacon onion Swiss burger was incredible. The juiced up French onion dip is so good too. The atmosphere is great, no one is yelling over one another even though the place doesn’t have an empty table. I will be frequenting this bar/restaurant from now on. 15/10 would die happy here
