Located in Morris Illinois downtown area. This looks like the place to be when big events happen like car shows or concerts, or just when you want a good drink, and some good food. Through the back door of the restaurant, you could see a garage door that can open and tons of seating and even a stage for bands. The downtown area is beautiful at night, and very clean for different types of stores.

First time at Carson’s, but won’t be our last! Food was delicious. I had their turkey with wild rice soup, one of the best restaurant soups I’ve had in awhile! Ordered a chef’s salad with it; also very tasty! Husband had their Reuben with fries; said it was just okay, but skimpy on the corned beef.

Really good food although on a Friday night it was tough getting a waitress for our group. Once we went up to the bar and drug a waitress back she was attentive and food came quick, drinks were never full and prices were very reasonable.

Cream of turkey and wild rice soup was decent. I was super excited by the chicken crackling (pictured). They were hot and fresh, but dredged in some sort of breading. The bartender did a great job of customer service both inside and outside while also running food. Definitely short-staffed.
