Very sexy date night vibe. Small & intimate. Food was good, drinks were artisan and delicious. I’m still dreaming about those lamb chops. I went for valentine’s day so I believe it was a special menu but I’m hoping that red velvet tiramisu

Had the most amazing brunch today! Our server Cindy was the best. She intuitively knows when you need something and is right there to refill your drink before you even realize you need another one. She’s so friendly and hospitable. I had the best Old Fashioned I’ve had in a long time! Kaine the bartender is an absolute artist. This drink was smooth and perfectly balanced. The food was delicious. (See attached photos) Compliments to the chef! Everything was perfect and delicious. The manager Gerald checked in to make sure everything was perfect. All around this was a 10/10 and hospitality like this is hard to find these days.

Square 1682 is one of the best restaurants to enjoy a meal for any occasion. All of the staff were very pleasant, courteous and professional. Square 1682 is a perfect restaurant and I had breakfast everyday during my stay in Philadelphia. Hard to find a perfect restaurant where the quality of the food is exceeds your expectations. All the staff welcomes you like you are part of their family, music is pleasant to listen to and does not overpower your conversation. The staff makes sure you feel at home. One of the best staff that deserves recognition is Kaitlyn.

In town for the week and had to give a shoutout to Square 1682. The drinks were fantastic and the mixologist clearly knows their craft. Every cocktail felt balanced and intentional, not just thrown together.
But what really stood out was the service. Our server Jasmine was awesome. Great smile, super friendly, and just a fun personality that made the whole experience even better. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does.
I regret not catching the manager’s name, because the team there is clearly doing something right. Between the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service, this spot made a great impression while I’m in town. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Philadelphia.

I was visiting my family member at the Kimpton over the weekend and I decided to get some drinks at the Bar. Amazing Drinks! But Angelo and Ray made the experience much better! Truly a great experience with them behind the bar! Their attentiveness and hospitality is top notch. This restaurant is lucky to have them!
The Food was pretty good, I tried their tasting menu and I got the Mussels as the first course which were really good. The Steak was okay, It was kind of dry in my opinion but to each it’s own!
Great Restaurant but even better people! I recommend coming here and grabbing a drink with these two!

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was something special. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, beautifully curated with cozy lighting, tasteful decor, and a vibe that made you want to stay for more.

The food you ask? Top notch if I may say so myself! Every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. From the appetizers to the desert, everything was plated to please the eye and tasted even better than I could have ever imagined. You could tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

Although, what truly elevated the experience was our waitress Kaitlyn. She was an absolute gem; attentive without hovering, genuinely kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her timing was flawless, her recommendations were spot-on, and made us feel as if we were VIPs from start to finish. Honestly, one of the best servers I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.

If you’re looking for a place that nails the trifecta of food, ambiance, and service this is it. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

I ended up getting horribly sick shortly after having brunch here. Top 3 worst food poisoning incidents of my life. Flavour-wise, the food tasted fine. Mine was room temperature though. Service was friendly

I came here not too long ago to grab some food from at the bar. I had been told by a couple of friends that this was a good spot so I had to try, and safe to say I wasn’t disappointed. The service was great as well as the ambiance. I had the square burger with truffle fries which were recommended by Ray and Angelo. It was a 7/10 burger and the fries were amazing 10/10. The drinks I was also recommended was great too. Over all it was a great experience, and I highly recommend coming here.

Nice hotel bar we used our Resort fee credit to pay. The power bowl was very good and a large portion. Breakfast sandwich was also good.

I recently tried brunch at Square 1682, and it was a solid experience! Their brunch hours are from 8 AM to 2 PM on weekends. If you arrive early enough, parking is not too much of a hassle, although it does come with a cost. The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff is super friendly.

For coffee lovers, they do offer regular coffee, but if you’re into flavored coffee, you won’t find that here. Now, let’s talk about the food. The shrimp and grits were definitely a highlight — rich, creamy cheese sauce and a generous portion of shrimp. The portion size is hefty enough that you could probably get away with just that, as it’s very filling. If you’re still hungry after, go ahead and order something else.

I saw somewhere that their buttermilk pancakes were rated among the top 7 in Philly, but I wasn’t impressed. They were on the dry side — not terrible, but there are definitely better pancakes out there.

As for the pricing, it was pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Two orders of shrimp and grits and an order of pancakes came to $60, which didn’t break the bank.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend the shrimp and grits and would return to try more from their brunch menu!
