The food here is honestly terrible. Most of the options are bland and unappetizing I can only bring myself to eat from the salad bar. Definitely not worth it if you’re expecting decent meals.

Spuds Chow Hall is okay, but it doesn’t compare to Marine Corps chow halls. One of the biggest drawbacks is that you’re only allowed one plate, which doesn’t really make sense to me—especially when Marine Corps chow halls let you eat as much as you want. The food itself is decent, but the portion restriction is a big downside. It’s not terrible, but it could definitely be better.

Spuds requires you to wear the uniform of the day to take food carry out. This is like McDonald’s requiring you to wear your uniform to order through the drive thru. Management needs to get their stuff together and realize they aren’t in charge of the military. I didn’t serve my country to be told by a civilian employee what I have to wear to get food.

I’m happy to report they finally fixed online ordering. I got a cheese pizza and meat lovers pizza. The chicken wingdings are my favorite. The pizza is good but not great. Possibly needs to be cooked more or more pizza sauce is needed. The delivery driver was very nice though.
